Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were seen enjoying a frozen yogurt outing in New York City, offering a low-key public moment after Lively pushed her legal dispute with Justin Baldoni back into court. The couple sat in the backseat of a car with the windows down as they shared dessert, keeping the scene casual and close to the city’s everyday pace.

The sighting comes as Lively continues to deal with the fallout from the drawn-out legal fight tied to “It Ends With Us.” The actress, 38, and Reynolds, 49, have been married since 2012, and their recent outing showed the pair spending time together while the case around her former co-star remains active.

A casual stop for frozen yogurt

The couple’s dessert stop centered on Go Greek Yogurt, where Reynolds shared a photo of his fro-yo on Instagram Stories. Lively reposted it on her own Stories and added Billy Idol’s “Hot In The City” as audio, writing, “@gogreekyogurt The new, limited pineapple flavor is bonkers. It needs to be a staple.”

The small social-media exchange gave a closer look at the outing without turning it into a major public appearance. Lively also appeared relaxed for the trip, wearing her long blonde hair down and statement earrings, while Reynolds chose a light blue shirt.

Court developments continue around Baldoni dispute

The NYC outing followed a Monday hearing in federal court in New York, where Lively did not appear for a discussion about damages connected to Baldoni’s dismissed defamation lawsuit. Baldoni also was not present, according to the report.

Baldoni had originally sought $400 million from Lively in a January 2025 lawsuit that was dismissed last June. Lively is now asking that Baldoni, 42, cover her legal fees and related costs, and she is also seeking triple damages and punitive damages.

The pair had been scheduled to face each other in court on May 18 over Lively’s own lawsuit, but that dispute was settled two weeks earlier. Attorneys on both sides described the settlement in positive terms, with Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman calling it a “huge victory,” and Lively’s team taking the same view.

Life in New York keeps moving

The frozen yogurt outing also comes as Lively has stayed visible in New York while the legal matter continues. The actress was recently seen at a star-studded Fendi event, and she also attended the Met Gala hours after the settlement news surfaced.

Page Six reported that Lively and Baldoni spent a combined $60 million during the legal fight, though neither side made money from the settlement. The couple’s four children — James, Inez, Betty and Olin — did not appear to be with them during the yogurt stop, keeping the moment centered on a brief night out for the longtime spouses.
