Timesofindia.indiatimes.com reported that police officials said Ugale was staying with her parents and sister in the Nalasopara area of Mumbai, and she was alone at the time of the incident. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and an Accidental Death Report has been registered as police investigate the case.
IANS said in a post on X that actress Sanchita Ugale, 30, was found dead at her residence in Nalasopara East, Maharashtra, in an alleged suicide case. The post also stated that she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom on June 14 and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

News of her death quickly prompted reactions from fans and fellow actors. Pandya Store actor Simran Budharup commented on Ugale’s latest Instagram post and wrote, “Why Sanchita?” along with a crying emoticon.
