This collaborative effort led to Pfitzner’s arrest on Tuesday morning in Knoxville. The U.S. Marshals Service emphasized the importance of multi-jurisdictional cooperation in apprehending fugitives.

This case highlights how task forces utilize coordinated intelligence and resource sharing across regions to track and detain escapees. It also demonstrates the swift action taken by law enforcement in response to escape attempts involving detainees transported between courts and detention facilities.
