Harrison Ford Spotted in Knoxville: Details on His Visit and Public Appearances

Harrison Ford Spotted in Knoxville Again

Harrison Ford was seen in Knoxville on December 10, attending the ninth annual Allman Betts Family Revival at the Tennessee Theatre. This music event celebrates the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band and is hosted by their sons Devon Allman and Duane Betts.

The actor, widely known for his roles as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, has become a familiar visitor to Knoxville. Ford’s visits are often linked to his wife Calista Flockhart’s family, who retired in nearby East Tennessee.

While at the revival, Ford took photos with Devon and Duane Allman, which were shared on the event’s social media platforms. Duane Betts captioned one post, "High times in Knoxville last night!!! The incomparable Harrison Ford dropped by." He also stopped by Oliver Royale on Market Square during his visit.

Ford’s presence in Knoxville is not new. He was previously spotted in the city in 2023 when a driver for the Knoxville Information Shuttle Service took a selfie with him, although Ford did not use the shuttle. The shuttle service ended in 2024.

Even further back, in 2018, Ford visited Pete’s Coffee Shop in Knoxville for breakfast. The then co-owner, Joey Natour, recalled the encounter and jokingly mentioned Ford’s famous role by saying, "I just went up and started talking to him … joking that he wasn’t in the new ‘Star Wars’ movie."

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have made several visits to the Knoxville area over the years. These trips highlight their personal ties to the region through family and their affection for local events and businesses.

The actor’s continued appearances contribute to Knoxville’s cultural scene and bring a touch of Hollywood to this East Tennessee city. His visits are appreciated by fans and locals alike, offering memorable moments at public events and local venues.
