Jack Black Responds to Elle Fanning Calling Him the ‘Hottest Man’ Ever

Jack Black’s Humorous Reaction to Elle Fanning Calling Him the ‘Hottest Man’

Jack Black expressed surprise and amusement after Elle Fanning described him as the "hottest man" she had ever seen. In an interview with her sister Dakota for Vanity Fair last fall, Fanning praised Black as "sex on legs" and "the perfect man," which left the actor astonished.

In a TikTok video shared by Sony Pictures, Black joked, “Have you ever heard of body dysmorphia?” He explained that while many perceive themselves as ugly despite being attractive, Fanning seems to have the opposite experience by seeing him as a “gorgeous creature,” even though he humorously called himself a “goblin gremlin.” He referred to this as “goblin dysmorphia.”

The 56-year-old actor thanked Fanning for her compliment but admitted he needed to close his eyes to process her words. The video featured Black sitting with Paul Rudd, his co-star in the upcoming Anaconda reboot.

Rudd chimed in, showing full support for Fanning’s praise. He said, “I really do [get it]. I adore you, Jack. As does America! As does the world! Elle’s got it right.” This lighthearted banter highlighted the mutual admiration between the actors.

Black also sent a reassuring message to Gus Wenner, Fanning’s boyfriend since early this year. He humorously stated, “Dude, we got no beef. We’re cool. I didn’t do nothing to deserve this attention.”

Fanning later revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that her boyfriend jokingly told Black, “You’re her hall pass,” when they met at the Golden Globes valet stand. The actress found the moment amusing and confessed she was blushing.

Jack Black has been married to Tanya Hadden since 2006. Both attended the recent Golden Globes event where the playful interaction occurred.

The reboot of Anaconda, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, is set to be released in theaters on December 25. Fans can expect more entertaining moments from these beloved actors.
