Kelly LeBrock Embraces Ranch Life, Trading Hollywood Glamour for Peace
Kelly LeBrock, famed for her iconic role in the 1985 film Weird Science, has chosen tranquility over the spotlight. At a recent Vanderpump Dog Gala, she described her decision to give up "diamonds for dirt" after leaving Hollywood behind.
LeBrock, now 65, resides on a sprawling ranch in Santa Ynez, California, where she manages horses, cattle, dogs, and chickens largely on her own. "I have a big ranch that I take care of myself," she shared, adding she employs help only one day per week.
Located behind a lake, her property lies in what she calls a "little gem" nestled in the picturesque Santa Ynez Valley. She appreciates the serene countryside, saying, "The countryside there is so incredible." Her new life suits her preference for solitude, as she admits to being "a bit of a recluse."
The actress rose to fame as Lisa, a dream woman materialized by a computer in Weird Science, which grossed $38.9 million worldwide. Despite her success in Hollywood and three marriages—including to actor Steven Seagal—LeBrock has long since embraced ranch living. She left the entertainment industry following her divorce from Seagal and prefers a low-profile lifestyle without television or much outside communication.
LeBrock also opened up about health challenges linked to skin cancer. She revealed enduring multiple bouts, once requiring surgery that left a large wound. She now promotes a new skincare line designed for animals, which she describes as a "miracle drug" that heals wounds completely and naturally. This product, she noted, also has applications for humans.
Reflecting on her transition, LeBrock enjoys occasional nights out but prefers the calm of her rural home. "Dinner, drinks. Just seeing everybody," she said of her recent gala attendance. "I don’t really go out anymore, but I like it like that."
Her story highlights a deliberate and peaceful shift from Hollywood’s glitz to the fulfilling demands of ranch life.
