Lattaben Gunvantpuri Gosai, a deeply devoted mother, wife, and community member, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Born in Uttarsanda, India, she carried the values of devotion, compassion, karma, and seva throughout her life.
In 1980, Lattaben moved to the United States with her husband, Gunvantpuri Gosai. They embraced new challenges with resilience and settled in Boone, North Carolina, where they lived for over three decades.
Their 46 years of marriage were marked by mutual support and profound love. Lattaben was the caring mother of four daughters—Gayatri, Radha, Puja, and Janki—and a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Dhimahi, Ved, Meera, Shivaya, and Jai.
She expressed her affection through cooking, finding joy in preparing meals with care and intention. Her kitchen became a haven where family and friends gathered, nourished by her nurturing spirit.
Lattaben faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and grace. Her belief in kindness and the power of good food to transform situations shaped her relationships and community involvement.
Known for her quiet devotion and selflessness, Lattaben’s life was deeply rooted in faith and family values. Her passing leaves a lasting imprint of purity, gentle kindness, and enduring love.
Funeral services will be held at Austin & Barnes Funeral Home in Boone, North Carolina. Attendees are requested to wear white in accordance with Indian tradition.
