Official data from the National Immigration Administration reveals that foreign entries and exits totaled 82.035 million in the previous year, marking a 26.4% increase from the year before. Visa-exempt entries accounted for 30.08 million arrivals, representing 73.1% of all inbound foreign visitors.
This increase reflects nearly a 50% rise in visa-free inbound arrivals compared to the prior year, underscoring the effectiveness of China’s diplomatic policies on tourism.
