Washington State University has suspended forward Emmanuel Ugbo for the remainder of the basketball season due to a legal matter involving stalking and harassment allegations. The decision was announced by head coach David Riley, confirming Ugbo has not participated in any games or practices since late January.
The suspension followed an incident where a Washington State women’s volleyball player accused Ugbo of stalking and harassment after their relationship ended. A Whitman County judge granted the woman a full protection order against Ugbo, which took effect shortly before the suspension began.
