Design and Camera Innovations
Apple introduced notable design changes in the new series. The iPhone Air, Pro, and Pro Max feature a horizontally oriented camera bump, deviating from the previous square-shaped vertical modules seen since iPhone 11 Pro. Only the regular iPhone 17 maintains the vertical camera layout.
The Air model is ultra-thin and equipped with a single 48MP main camera that uses Apple’s Fusion system, which Apple claims performs like a combination of four lenses. It also sports an 18MP front camera with Dual Capture technology for improved selfies and video calls.
