Seiko has turned Fullmetal Alchemist into another watch collaboration, and this one leans hard into the series’ visual codes. The result is a black-dial chronograph packed with references that fans will spot immediately. The strongest cue is the red alchemic transmutation circle on the dial, joined by the “Flaming Cross” emblem in the lower right corner. Seiko also shaped the hour markers around the screws in Edward Elric’s automail right arm, while the small seconds sub-dial carries the Amestris military emblem with its line-drawn dragon. Every Detail Pulls From The Series At the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, the lume glows green in the dark, and the hour and minute hands follow the same treatment. The caseback carries the phrase “Don’t forget 3. OCT. 11.”, echoing the message on Edward’s pocket watch from the series. The packaging keeps the theme going. Crimson wrapping paper and a display box reflect Edward’s cloak, while the box itself is printed with another familiar line from the franchise, “Stand up and walk. You have two perfectly good legs, don’t you?” What Seiko Has Confirmed So Far Esquire reports that the watch is a chronograph with a 12-hour counter and a tachymeter bezel. Beyond that, Seiko has not revealed much about the mechanics, keeping the focus on presentation and fan-specific detailing. The watch has only been announced for Japanese release through anime e-commerce platform AMNIBUS, where it costs ¥65,780, or about $410. For now, there is no confirmation of a wider global release.
