Samsung has started to lift the curtain on the Galaxy A27 after the device appeared on the company’s official Czechia website. The listing confirms a new mid-range model is close to launch, while also revealing a mix of upgrades and unexpected cutbacks. The most notable change is on the performance side, where Samsung moves to a newer Qualcomm chip and extends software support for years. At the same time, several hardware details move in the opposite direction, including camera resolution and dust-and-water protection. New chipset, familiar display The Galaxy A27 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, replacing the Exynos 1280 and Exynos 1380 used in earlier models. Samsung pairs it with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB. On the front, the phone uses a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A punch-hole cutout houses the 12MP selfie camera, giving the device a more modern front design. Cameras improve in one area, then slip in others Samsung equips the rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, along with a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens.
