Samsung Reopens Care Plus Enrollment For Galaxy Owners, Up To 16% Cheaper Through June

Samsung is reopening a limited enrollment window for Galaxy users in the United States who skipped protection at the time of purchase. Through June, eligible owners can sign up for Samsung Care Plus with Theft and Loss, with the deadline set for June 30.

The timing may be especially relevant for people who rely on their devices every day, since the program covers more than just accidental damage. Samsung says the regular rate can be up to 16% cheaper than the “after 60 days” retail price on certain devices, making this second chance more attractive than a late enrollment usually would be.

What the plan covers

Samsung Care Plus with Theft and Loss includes protection for drops, liquid spills, mechanical issues, loss, and theft. Samsung also says the plan offers unlimited repairs up to the device MSRP, which gives the program broader coverage than a basic accident-only warranty.

For cracked screens and battery issues, Samsung advertises same-day repairs with a $0 charge. In cases where a device is lost or stolen, the company says replacement can happen as fast as the same day in the U.S.

That speed will matter most for users who use their Galaxy phones for travel, work, and daily mobility. Boarding passes, hotel reservations, transportation, and translation are all common phone tasks, and losing access to a device can quickly disrupt those plans.

Who can enroll

The reopened enrollment applies in the U.S. market and is meant for eligible Galaxy owners who did not add protection during the original purchase. Samsung says the eligible device list includes the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S26 series, the Galaxy S25 Edge, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and the Galaxy Watch 8.

That list shows the offer is not limited to standard flagship phones. It also extends to foldables and wearables, which broadens the range of devices that can receive coverage during this June window.

Important conditions to know

Samsung also sets clear limits on who can enroll. Devices that are already damaged are not eligible, and online purchases require a device-condition check before coverage can be activated.

The replacement process also has built-in flexibility. Samsung says replacement units may be new or refurbished, and if the exact model is unavailable, a comparable model may be provided instead.

Same-day repair or replacement is not guaranteed in every case. Availability depends on the region, claim approval, parts availability, and technician schedules, so the service experience can vary by location.

Why the offer stands out now

The reopening arrives just as Samsung is positioning the plan at a lower regular rate on certain devices, with pricing said to be up to 16% cheaper than the after-60-days retail option. For users who missed the initial chance, that makes the current window unusual: it restores access while also improving the cost compared with a later sign-up path.

Samsung has also been adjusting Care Plus this year, including expanded accidental damage coverage and replacement options in some European regions. For U.S. customers, though, the main point is more immediate: the enrollment window is short, and it closes on June 30.
