The device is already open for pre-order, and its positioning makes the message clear: this is a low-cost model built to look far more modern than its price suggests.
What makes the phone stand out is not only the battery size, but also the way OnePlus has separated this model from other devices in the Turbo 6 series. While other variants use OLED panels, the Turbo 6X goes with an LCD display instead, yet it still keeps the 144Hz refresh rate. That choice should still deliver smooth scrolling, easier app switching, and a more responsive feel during gaming.

The battery is one of the strongest selling points of the Turbo 6X. OnePlus has confirmed a 7,000mAh capacity, which is unusually large for an affordable smartphone.
