iPhone 17 Pro Max Turned Into A Luxury Watch Stand, And The Price Reaches Billions

Caviar has taken the iPhone 17 Pro Max far beyond a standard luxury phone, turning it into a display piece for Swiss mechanical watches. The new Masters of Time collection adds a dedicated rear compartment designed to hold and showcase premium timepieces directly on the back of the handset.

The concept is built around a custom system called Watch Vault. Instead of a simple clip-on accessory, it uses a mechanical locking mechanism with a threaded ring that allows the watch to be attached and removed without extra tools.

Users can release the watch from the back of the phone by turning a lever, then transfer it to a strap and wear it on the wrist. To protect the watch case, the storage area is lined with a soft protective material, while a decorative metal plate is included to cover the empty space when the watch is removed.

Two main editions at launch

Caviar introduced two primary models in the first wave of the collection. The Celestial edition is made for the Patek Philippe Celestial and features 18-karat white gold, blue enamel, diamonds, and pieces of Muonionalusta meteorite.

The second model, Portugieser, is designed for the IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystere Squelette. Its casing is finished with white gold, hand engraving, white diamonds, and orange sapphires that echo the tourbillon design of the watch.

Beyond those two versions, Caviar also showcased concepts for the Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon and the Rolex Sky-Dweller. The company says it can also create custom frames for other Swiss watches with case diameters between 42 mm and 44 mm.

Prices reach billions of rupiah

The price reflects the ultra-premium positioning of the project. The Celestial model is listed at 215.360 dollar AS or around Rp 3,88 miliar, while a more accessible titanium version made for an Omega watch starts at 49.640 dollar AS or around Rp 893,5 juta.

With its mix of a premium smartphone and mechanical Swiss watch storage, the Masters of Time line stands out as one of Caviar’s most unusual iPhone modifications to date.
