Infinix is taking a more aggressive step into premium smartphone territory with the Note 60 Ultra. The device stands out immediately through a 200 MP camera and two-way satellite communication, two features that are still uncommon in its segment.
The move also signals a broader shift in the company’s strategy. Instead of focusing only on affordable pricing, Infinix is now putting more weight on design, standout features, and higher-end specifications.
Premium Design With an Unusual Finish
The Note 60 Ultra’s appearance is shaped by a collaboration with Italian automotive design house Pininfarina. That partnership gives the phone a futuristic look that helps define its identity in a crowded market.
Its aluminum frame is paired with a carbon-fiber-style back panel for a more rugged and modern impression. Infinix also adds a dot-matrix display on the rear, giving the device a visual element that is uncommon on mainstream smartphones.
Camera System Led by a 200 MP Sensor
The main camera uses a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size. Infinix says the sensor is designed to deliver high detail, rich color, and wide dynamic range when lighting conditions are favorable.

Performance Brings Strength, but Also Questions
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset. It is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage to support multitasking and faster data access.
Trusted Reviews notes, however, that the chipset does not fully match rivals in the same price range, especially in efficiency and stability. The software experience also draws criticism, with XOS based on Android 16 described as too crowded with preloaded apps and promotional elements.
Even with those concerns, Infinix is promising long-term support. The company says the Note 60 Ultra will receive three years of Android updates and five years of security updates.
