Lenovo has added another aggressive option to its gaming monitor lineup through the Lecoo brand in China. The new Lecoo N2521SQ stands out for combining a 24.5-inch QHD panel with a 275Hz refresh rate at a price of CNY 888, or about $131.41.
That pricing puts the monitor in a striking position for competitive gamers who want a fast display without moving into a much higher price bracket. A 2560×1440 panel at this level of speed is still uncommon, especially in the entry-level segment.
Aiming at speed without giving up resolution
The Lecoo N2521SQ uses a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a native resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Lenovo is clearly positioning the model around motion clarity and responsiveness, with the 275Hz refresh rate serving as its main selling point.
The panel is not only built for gaming. Lenovo says it covers 99% of DCI-P3 and 132% of sRGB, which gives it a wider color range than many budget-focused gaming monitors.
What Lenovo includes at this price
The monitor carries a typical brightness rating of 300 nits, and Lenovo also lists HDR support. Those numbers do not change the fact that this is still an affordable gaming display, but they do make the spec sheet look more complete.
There is also a Game Plus mode with crosshair assist. For players of shooters and other competitive titles, that feature can provide a simple on-screen aiming reference.
Simple connectivity, clean design
Connectivity is kept modest. The Lecoo N2521SQ includes one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, which should cover the basic needs of most gaming setups.
The monitor ships with an adjustable stand and a slim-looking design. That combination may appeal to users who want a functional screen without a bulky presence on the desk.
No mention of adaptive sync
Lenovo does not mention FreeSync or G-Sync support for the Lecoo N2521SQ. That likely means the feature is absent, which is not unusual for a monitor that tries to keep its price as low as possible while still reaching 275Hz.
For comparison, Samsung’s 25-inch Odyssey G4, which supports both technologies, is priced at around $182.94 on Amazon. The gap shows how aggressively Lenovo is trying to price this model against rivals in the budget gaming category.
China-only for now
The Lecoo N2521SQ is currently on sale in China for CNY 888. Lecoo products rarely reach international markets, so a wider release appears unlikely at this stage.
Even so, the monitor is a useful signal of where the entry-level gaming display market is heading. Lenovo appears willing to push QHD speed and practical features into a lower price range, giving buyers a new option that is hard to ignore on paper.
