Ugreen’s Slim 65W Charger Packs Three Ports, Yet Still Fits In A Pocket

Ugreen has expanded its fast-charging lineup in China with the Nexode Air 65W Slim, a compact GaN adapter that puts three ports into a body only 1.45 cm thick. The design keeps portability in focus, but the added flexibility makes it more practical than many single-device chargers in the same size class.

The charger is built for users who want one adapter for a laptop, phone, and accessories without carrying a bulkier brick. Ugreen also says the model is set to reach global markets soon, widening its appeal beyond the domestic launch.

Three ports with different power roles

The Nexode Air 65W Slim includes two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. One USB-C port can deliver up to 65W, while the second USB-C port supports up to 30W.

That layout gives the first USB-C port enough output for laptops and phones, while the second USB-C port is better suited to phones and lower-power devices. The USB-A port supports up to 22.5W for accessories and older devices that still rely on that connector.

When all three ports are used at once, the charger adjusts its output to 45W on C1 and 15W shared between USB-A and C2, bringing the total peak output to 60W. That trade-off is typical of compact multi-port chargers, where total power must be divided across connected devices.

Wide protocol support and GaN efficiency

Ugreen says the adapter supports major charging protocols including PD, PPS, QC, FCP, and SCP. That broad compatibility should make the charger more convenient for households that use devices from different brands.

The company also claims the GaN-based design delivers efficiency above 90%. Higher efficiency can help reduce wasted power during charging, which is especially relevant for a compact adapter that may be used frequently.

To manage thermals, Ugreen says the charger uses its own internal temperature-control system. The aim is to address heat buildup during longer charging sessions and keep performance stable under load.

Thin enough for daily carry

At 1.45 cm thick, the Nexode Air 65W Slim is only 0.2 cm thicker than the earlier Air 45W Slim. That small increase in thickness helps explain how Ugreen managed to add more ports and higher overall capability without turning the charger into a bulky travel accessory.

The result is a charger that still slides easily into a pocket, making it an appealing option for commuters and frequent travelers. For users who want to cut down on the number of chargers they carry, the slim profile may be as important as the higher wattage.

Price and availability

In China, Ugreen is selling the Nexode Air 65W Slim for CNY 129, or around $19. That pricing places it in a very competitive range for a 65W charger with three ports and GaN technology.

For international buyers looking for something similar before this model becomes more widely available, Ugreen already offers the Nexode Pro 65W on Amazon for $44.99. The new slim model, however, appears aimed at delivering a more pocket-friendly alternative at a much lower entry price.

With its mix of a thin body, multi-port flexibility, and broad protocol support, the Nexode Air 65W Slim is positioned as one of Ugreen’s most practical compact chargers. Its broader rollout will determine how far that formula can go outside China.
