OMOWAY OMO-X Stuns Indonesia, the First Smart Motorcycle to Balance on Its Own

Indonesia has become the stage for OMOWAY’s global debut of the OMO-X, a smart motorcycle that combines artificial intelligence with electric mobility. The launch places the country at the center of a new wave of premium two-wheeler technology.

What makes the OMO-X stand out is not only its AI-powered features, but also its self-balancing system. The motorcycle can remain upright without a side stand or rider support, even when fully stopped at traffic lights.

AI at the center of the riding experience

The OMO-X runs on a Smart Vehicle OS built on AI, giving riders voice-based control over navigation, music playback, tire pressure checks, and riding mode changes. The system is designed to keep hands on the handlebars while still allowing access to key functions.

Its onboard intelligence also monitors mechanical and electrical conditions continuously. If the system detects an anomaly in the battery or drive components, it sends a preventive alert to the owner’s smartphone before a failure develops.

Self-balancing technology for added stability

The most eye-catching feature is the Self-Balancing Tech, which uses advanced gyroscopic sensors and precision actuators. According to OMOWAY, the system allows the motorcycle to stand on its own at a complete stop without relying on a kickstand.

That capability is intended to help newer riders and provide extra stability during tight cornering or on slippery, waterlogged roads. It also gives the OMO-X a distinct position among premium electric motorcycles.

Futuristic design and AR projection display

Visually, the OMO-X adopts a neo-futuristic look with a streamlined body and minimal front-to-rear design language. Carbon fiber materials are used to support lightness, efficiency, and agility in dense urban traffic.

Instead of a conventional LCD panel, the motorcycle uses an interactive projection screen that displays Augmented Reality navigation in real time.

Performance, range, and market rollout

OMOWAY positions the OMO-X as a premium electric motorcycle with quick acceleration and an electronically limited top speed for urban safety. The company says the bike can move from 0 to 50 km/h in just a few seconds.

Its solid-state battery is claimed to provide a range of 150–180 kilometers on a full charge. That puts it in a practical range for daily commuting as well as longer rides.

For the Indonesian launch, OMOWAY introduced a special introductory price for local buyers, with the model placed in the premium segment. The first wave of units will be focused on major cities such as Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya before distribution expands to other areas and later enters global markets.

OMOWAY’s decision to debut the OMO-X in Indonesia reflects the country’s strong electric-vehicle adoption and its appetite for digital mobility products. With AI controls, preventive diagnostics, and self-balancing hardware, the OMO-X is being positioned as more than a standard electric motorcycle.
