vivo T5 Pro Debuts With 9,020mAh Battery, 90W Charging In An 8.25mm Body

vivo has expanded its T-Series lineup with the launch of the T5 Pro, a phone built for users who want strong performance, long battery life, and gaming-focused features in one device. Its most eye-catching specification is the 9,020mAh battery packed into a body that measures just 8.25 mm thick and weighs 213 grams.

That combination gives the T5 Pro a distinct position in the Indian market, where vivo is aiming to attract users who care about endurance as much as charging speed and structural durability. Sales are scheduled to begin on April 21, 2026 through vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and select partner stores.

Large battery, fast charging, and flexible power features

The headline feature of the T5 Pro is its 9,020mAh battery, which is designed for heavy daily use such as streaming, navigation, and long gaming sessions. vivo pairs that capacity with 90W fast charging, with the company claiming the battery can reach 50 percent in 37 minutes.

The phone also supports reverse wired charging and bypass charging. Those additions make the device more practical in different usage scenarios, including gaming while connected to power.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and gaming-oriented hardware

Under the hood, the T5 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. This places the phone in the upper mid-range segment, with an emphasis on efficiency and stable performance.

To help control heat, vivo includes a 7,000 mm² vapor chamber cooling system. Gaming features are also a clear part of the design, with Ultra Game Mode, a dedicated gaming antenna, 4D Game Vibration, and support for games at up to 120 FPS.

Display, cameras, and durability

On the front, the T5 Pro uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2,800 x 1,260 pixel resolution. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, which should help visibility in bright conditions.

A 32MP front camera sits in a centered punch-hole cutout, while an optical fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display. On the back, the phone uses a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS, alongside a 2MP bokeh sensor. Both the front and rear cameras support video recording up to 4K.

The device also comes with stereo speakers and carries IP68/IP69 certification for protection against water and dust. vivo further adds support for using the screen even when hands are wet or oily, improving usability in more demanding conditions.

Colors, variants, and pricing

The T5 Pro arrives in Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black. It is offered in three memory configurations, as listed below:

  1. 8GB/128GB — INR 29,999
  2. 8GB/256GB — INR 33,999
  3. 12GB/256GB — INR 39,999

With its unusually large battery, 90W charging, 144Hz AMOLED display, and IP68/IP69 durability, the vivo T5 Pro is positioned as a versatile option for users who want a phone that can handle work, entertainment, and gaming without frequent charging interruptions.
