OPPO has expanded its F33 lineup in India with two models that look set to appeal to buyers who want long battery life, fast charging, and durable hardware. The OPPO F33 and OPPO F33 Pro share most of their core specifications, yet they separate themselves through a very different rear design and a notably stronger selfie camera on the Pro model.
That contrast is the main story of the series. While the two phones are closely matched in performance, display, and battery capacity, OPPO gives each model a distinct identity through its camera treatment and back panel layout.
Shared core hardware
Both devices run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max, which OPPO describes as another name for the Dimensity 6300 with equivalent performance. The chip uses a 6 nm process and combines two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz.
Memory options are also broadly similar. Both models use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, with 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB variants available. The standard OPPO F33 also gets a 6/128 GB option, while the F33 Pro does not offer that lower configuration.
Large battery and fast charging
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points of the series. The OPPO F33 and OPPO F33 Pro each come with a 7000 mAh battery and support 80 W fast charging.
OPPO says the battery remains stable in temperatures from 0 to 43 degrees Celsius. The company also claims the battery can retain 80% health after five years of use. Both phones support reverse wired charging through the USB Type-C port, along with bypass charging for users who want to keep the phone connected to power during extended use.
Display stays the same across both models
On the front, the two phones are nearly identical. Each uses a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 2372 x 1080 resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 1400 nits.
The panel places the front camera in a centered punch-hole cutout, but the selfie hardware itself differs sharply between the two models.
Selfie camera is where the Pro pulls ahead
The OPPO F33 uses a 16 MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture and an 85-degree field of view. The OPPO F33 Pro steps up to a 50 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 100-degree field of view, and autofocus.
That upgrade makes the Pro model more suitable for group selfies and content creation tasks that benefit from higher detail and better focus control. In contrast, the regular F33 keeps a more basic front camera setup despite matching the Pro in most other areas.
Rear design creates the clearest distinction
The back side is where the two phones diverge the most. The OPPO F33 uses a square camera module with two lenses and a full circular LED light.
The OPPO F33 Pro takes a different route with a rectangular module that OPPO says is inspired by the iPhone 17 Pro. It also carries two rear cameras, but the LED light is shaped as a ring, giving the back panel a more premium appearance.
Even with the different module designs, the rear camera specifications remain unchanged. Both phones carry a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 76-degree field of view, plus a 2 MP monochrome camera with f/2.4 aperture and an 89-degree field of view.
Durability and software features
OPPO has also equipped both models with MIL-STD 810H certification, indicating a design that is better prepared for drops and strong shocks. In addition, the phones carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, meaning they are dust-resistant and built to handle water jets and high-temperature spray up to 80 degrees.
Both run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Other shared features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a hybrid card slot, and a USB Type-C port.
Colors and pricing
The OPPO F33 comes in pearl white and forest green. The OPPO F33 Pro is offered in starry blue, misty forest, and passion red.
According to the pricing table on OPPO’s site, the F33 is listed at 31,999 rupee for the 6/128 GB version, 34,999 rupee for the 8/128 GB version, and 37,999 rupee for the 8/256 GB model. The F33 Pro is priced at 37,999 rupee for 8/128 GB and 40,999 rupee for 8/256 GB.
With nearly identical specifications across the two models, the OPPO F33 series is aimed at users who prioritize endurance, a fast display, and a large battery. The F33 Pro stands out as the more expensive option thanks to its 50 MP front camera and its more premium rear design.
