Motorola Deepens Its Push in Indonesia, Three New Phones Span Foldable, Mid-Range, and Flagship-Killer Segments

Motorola’s renewed push in Indonesia is being marked by three new phones that target very different buyers. Rather than relying on a single headline model, the brand is spreading its attention across a foldable, a mid-range device, and a flagship-killer, each with a distinct pricing and feature set.

That approach gives the lineup a broader reach, especially because the three models do not compete on the same terms. Motorola Razr 60, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, and Motorola Signature each carry a different identity, yet all of them are positioned to show that Motorola is taking the Indonesian market more seriously.

A foldable option that keeps the Razr name in focus

Among the three, Razr 60 is the model that stands out immediately because of its foldable design. Motorola officially brought it to Indonesia on 25 February 2026, after its global introduction in April 2025.

The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Its outer display uses a 6.9-inch P-OLED panel with a 1080 x 2640 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the inner screen measures 3.6 inches and supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

Motorola has also given this foldable a serious camera setup for its class. The rear system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view, while the front camera uses a 32MP sensor for selfies.

Battery life is supported by a 4500 mAh battery, with 30W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The 8/256GB variant is priced at Rp11,9 juta and comes in Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Spring Bud, and Pantone Parfait Pink.

Mid-range focus shifts to battery endurance

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion takes a different route by emphasizing endurance and display quality. The phone entered Indonesia on 20 April 2026, shortly after its debut at MWC in early March 2026.

Its main appeal is the combination of a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and a 7000 mAh battery, which makes it the largest battery among the three models discussed here. For charging, Motorola includes 68W fast charging through USB Type-C, a detail that reinforces the phone’s practical positioning for daily use.

The display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1272 x 2772 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola also lists peak brightness up to 5200 nits, along with Gorilla Glass 7i protection to help improve durability.

On the camera side, the phone carries a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 32MP front camera. Additional features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 certification, and MIL-STD 810H standards. The 8/256GB version is sold at Rp6,4 juta, with Pantone Orient Blue, Pantone Sporting Green, and Pantone Silhouette as color choices.

Flagship-killer positioning comes through the Signature model

Motorola Signature is aimed at a higher tier and arrived in Indonesia on 20 April 2026 as well. The model is presented as a flagship-killer thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which sets the tone for its performance ambitions.

Its 6.8-inch AMOLED display uses a 1264 x 2780 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Motorola says the panel reaches up to 6200 nits of peak brightness and uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.

The camera setup is one of the clearest signs of its premium intent, since all three rear modules use 50MP sensors. The main rear camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 with OIS and autofocus, followed by a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 122-degree field of view and autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera using the Sony LYT 600 sensor with OIS and 3X optical zoom.

For selfies, Motorola includes a 50MP Sony LYT 500 front camera with autofocus. Power comes from a 5200 mAh battery with 90W charging and 50W wireless charging, while other features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared transmitter, IP68 and IP69 certification, and MIL-STD 810H support. The 12/256GB variant costs Rp12,9 juta and is offered in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive.

Three models, three separate buying angles

The release strategy makes Motorola’s current direction in Indonesia easier to read. Razr 60 leans on foldable design, Edge 70 Fusion focuses on battery and everyday endurance, and Signature pushes performance and imaging into premium territory.

With prices set at Rp6,4 juta, Rp11,9 juta, and Rp12,9 juta across the three models, Motorola is clearly trying to offer choices at different levels without losing its premium image. That mix gives Indonesian buyers a wider set of options, while also showing that Motorola is no longer approaching the market quietly.
