Gigabyte’s MO32U24 arrives as a clear statement of intent for the premium gaming monitor market. With a 32-inch QD-OLED panel, 4K resolution, and a 240 Hz refresh rate, it is built to appeal to players who want sharp image quality and fast motion in the same display.
That combination places the monitor in direct competition with other high-end OLED gaming models, including the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD and LG UltraGear OLED 27GX790B. Gigabyte is aiming at users who expect deep color, smooth response, and a large screen for modern games.
A 4K QD-OLED panel built for speed
The MO32U24 uses a 32-inch QD-OLED panel with a 3840 x 2160 pixel UHD resolution. That setup delivers high detail and a wide visual canvas, which matters in both cinematic games and competitive titles.
Its 240 Hz refresh rate is paired with a stated 0.03 ms GTG response time. Gigabyte is clearly positioning the monitor for fast-paced gameplay, where blur and delay can affect the experience during quick movement.
The panel also supports peak HDR brightness of up to 1000 nits. Color coverage reaches 99 percent of the DCI-P3 space, while the viewing angle is listed at 178 degrees.
Extra display tech for darker blacks and cleaner motion
Gigabyte adds an Obsidian Shield film to the panel. The company says this layer can improve perceived black levels by up to 40 percent, which is especially relevant in brighter rooms where OLED screens can be more difficult to judge.
The monitor also carries DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and VESA ClearMR 13000 certification. These badges point to strong HDR contrast and motion clarity, two areas that matter to buyers in this category.
Cooling, sound, and day-to-day use
To manage heat, Gigabyte uses a fanless cooling system together with a graphene thermal film. The design should help keep the display quiet during long sessions, which may be attractive to users who prefer minimal noise at the desk.
MO32U24 also includes two 5 W stereo speakers. That gives users a built-in audio option before they connect external speakers or a headset.
Connectivity and ergonomics
The port selection is broad enough for a premium gaming setup. Gigabyte includes 2 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x USB Type-C, 2 x USB 3.2, 1 x USB 3.2 upstream, and 1 x earphone jack.
That mix gives the monitor flexibility across modern consoles, gaming PCs, and compatible USB Type-C devices. The presence of HDMI 2.1 is particularly important for current gaming hardware that needs higher bandwidth.
The design comes in an all-black finish and uses a stand with tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment. Height adjustment goes up to 130 mm, which should help users fine-tune positioning for a 32-inch screen.
