Tudor has given the Black Bay Chrono line another racing-focused twist, and the new Carbon 26 makes that connection even harder to miss. With a matte racing white dial, bright yellow accents, and a direct visual link to the Racing Bulls VCARB 03, the watch leans heavily into motorsport without changing the core formula underneath.
The result is a limited-edition chronograph that feels aimed as much at collectors as at Tudor followers who want a more explicit racing theme. Production is capped at 2026 units, and the watch is already positioned as a premium, highly specific take on the Black Bay Chrono family.
A sharper racing identity
The strongest change in the Carbon 26 is not mechanical but visual. Tudor has used the VCARB 03 livery as the main design cue, turning the watch into a more recognizable motorsport statement than its predecessor.
The matte white dial sits at the center of that approach. Yellow and bright white details reinforce the race car inspiration, while the overall presentation pushes the watch closer to the atmosphere of a modern racing machine.
Tudor still keeps familiar elements in place. The hands for the hours, minutes, and seconds use lume, and the chronograph layout remains anchored by two checkerboard-style subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, plus a date window at 6 o’clock.
Carbon case, familiar tool-watch stance
The case measures 42 mm and is made from carbon fiber, continuing the Carbon direction used in the line. Tudor also keeps the fixed tachymeter bezel, screw-down crown, and chronograph pushers, all of which maintain the sporty and functional character of the watch.
That combination matters because the Carbon 26 is not presented as a complete redesign. Instead, Tudor has refined the visual story while leaving the underlying Black Bay Chrono identity intact.
The watch also stays true to the tool-watch side of the brand. Its construction still supports a rugged, performance-oriented profile rather than a purely display-driven limited edition.
MT5813 remains the mechanical core
Inside, the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 continues to use the automatic MT5813 movement. Tudor keeps the same chronograph engine that powered the previous generation, making the update more about theme than mechanics.
The movement uses a column wheel and a silicon balance spring. Tudor lists a frequency of 4 Hz and a power reserve of about 70 hours, which gives the chronograph practical everyday usability.
Water resistance remains rated to 200 meters, or 660 feet. That specification reinforces the idea that this is still a serious sports watch, not just a commemorative piece built for display.
Limited production and pricing
Tudor has limited the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 26 to 2026 pieces. That number gives the model a built-in exclusivity that should appeal to collectors following either the Black Bay Chrono range or Tudor’s racing-themed releases.
The official price is $8,625. Tudor also says the watch is available through its website.
With its carbon case, MT5813 movement, 70-hour power reserve, and 200-meter water resistance, the Carbon 26 keeps the technical foundation of the series in place. What changes most is the visual link to Racing Bulls, giving the watch a sharper motorsport identity than the Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25 before it.
