Asus is giving the ProArt PZ14 a much stronger pitch for creators who want a compact 14-inch machine without giving up premium features. The latest model pairs a 144 Hz OLED display with Snapdragon X2, and that combination puts the 2-in-1 laptop squarely in the high-end creative category.
The biggest change sits under the hood. Asus says the ProArt PZ14 now uses the Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-88-100), a 3 nm chip that delivers about 70% more performance than the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 found in the ProArt PZ13, based on internal benchmarks.
A clearer move toward heavier creative workloads
That performance jump suggests Asus is aiming at users who need more than basic portability. The ProArt PZ14 is being positioned for creative work and demanding multitasking, while still keeping the thin, lightweight appeal of a 14-inch convertible.
The battery also gets an update. Asus lists a 75 Wh unit and says it brings around 7% more capacity than the previous model.
Display remains a key selling point
The OLED panel is another major part of the appeal. With a 144 Hz refresh rate, the display should offer richer color, strong contrast, and smoother motion, which are all traits that matter for content-focused use.
That display choice also fits the broader ProArt identity. Asus is clearly keeping the series aimed at creators who value both image quality and a fast-feeling interface in a portable format.
Pricing has already appeared in early markets
The first pricing details have started to surface in China. There, the ProArt PZ14 is available for pre-order at CNY 12,999, or about $1,900, for a configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
That figure sits below the listed MSRP of CNY 13,999, or about $2,049. The difference suggests Asus is using an early-market launch strategy with a more attractive entry point for preorder buyers.
Europe gets higher-memory configurations
Asus has also confirmed European pricing, and the numbers vary by market. In Spain, the ProArt PZ14 is priced at €2,499, or about $2,929, with 32 GB of RAM.
In Italy, the same laptop is listed at €2,699, or about $3,165. The different figures indicate that Asus is adjusting the configuration mix across regions rather than offering a single uniform package.
A sign that wider launch plans are taking shape
The appearance of the ProArt PZ14 in Spain and Italy listings points to a broader international rollout. That usually means the laptop is moving closer to availability beyond its initial market.
