The MPL Indonesia Season 17 MVP race has tightened again after Week 6, but the biggest shift is not just at the top. ONIC Esports now places three players inside the current top five, turning the leaderboard into a clear showcase of the team’s individual strength.
SANZ made the sharpest move of the week by climbing back to first place. The veteran ONIC midlaner now sits on 86 MVP points after adding a major 26-point jump from the previous week’s 60, and that surge changed the shape of the race almost immediately.
His rise was fueled by ONIC’s match against RRQ on May 3, 2026. In that game, SANZ stood out with Nana, a non-meta hero that is rarely favored, and finished the match with the MVP title.
That performance also earned SANZ Player of the Week honors in Week 6. It put him back in the conversation for the Regular Season MVP race, a spotlight he has already experienced in a previous season.
Kairi is keeping the pressure on from second place with 78 MVP points. The ONIC jungler added 10 points from the previous week and continues to track closely behind SANZ.
His rise has been steady rather than dramatic, but the trend has been hard to ignore. Earlier, Kairi moved from fifth to third in Week 5, and by Week 6 he had overtaken Arfy and Kelra to claim the runner-up spot.
ONIC’s Grip on the Top
The leaderboard’s most striking feature this week is ONIC’s depth. With SANZ, Kairi, and another teammate all inside the top three positions, the team has established the strongest presence among the league’s individual performers.
That kind of concentration matters because the MVP race is no longer being shaped by a single standout name. Instead, ONIC now has multiple players influencing the standings at the same time, which makes their impact on the table even more difficult to challenge.
Kelra and Arfy share third place with 77 MVP points each. Both players also held joint runner-up status in Week 5, so their position near the top has remained stable even without a major spike in Week 6.
Their consistency is part of what keeps the race close. Neither gold laner produced the most eye-catching moment of the week, but both have maintained a level of performance that keeps them relevant in the season-long debate.
Bigetron Still Holds a Presence
Morenooo’s drop from first to fourth was one of the clearest changes in Week 6. After briefly leading the leaderboard following a strong Week 4, he now has 71 MVP points and trails the current top three.
Bigetron by Vitality only played once in Week 6, and that match ended in a loss to RRQ Hoshi on Saturday. As a result, Morenooo added just two points, which was not enough to preserve his earlier lead.
Even so, Bigetron still has representation near the top. EMANNN remains in fifth place after also adding two MVP points this week, keeping the team inside the upper tier of the standings.
That keeps the competition from becoming a one-team story. Although ONIC currently dominates the upper half of the leaderboard, Bigetron by Vitality still has two players in the top five and remains part of the race for the season’s individual honors.
With the Regular Season still offering more matches, the leaderboard remains open to change. Players from other teams still have room to close the gap if they can turn upcoming games into stronger MVP point gains.
