A phone with a 185Hz display and a 9,000mAh battery is not a typical flagship formula, but that is exactly what the leaked OnePlus Ace 7 is said to be aiming for. The combination points to a device built for smooth visuals and long endurance rather than chasing only the usual premium checklist.
The most eye-catching claim is the display itself. Early information says OnePlus is testing refresh rates up to 240Hz, while the expected final figure sits at 185Hz, which would still place the Ace 7 well above many rivals that remain at 120Hz or 144Hz.
Performance First, Camera Later
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 7 is being tested with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. That chip is expected to bring stronger gaming performance, faster multitasking, and better power efficiency.
The handset is also reported to use a flat 6.78-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution. Together with the high refresh rate, that setup suggests OnePlus is targeting users who value quick response and fluid motion more than anything else.
That focus also explains why the camera setup has not become the center of attention so far. No detailed camera specifications have surfaced yet, and expectations remain modest compared with the emphasis on speed and battery life.
Battery Capacity Becomes the Main Talking Point
