OPPO is pushing harder into India’s premium smartphone market with two new additions that target different kinds of flagship buyers. The Find X9 Ultra aims at users who want the most ambitious camera and battery package, while the Find X9s offers a more accessible route into the same premium ecosystem.
That split strategy gives OPPO two entry points into the same high-end race. Both models are positioned to challenge other ultra-premium Android phones, including Vivo X300 Ultra, with photography, performance, and battery life forming the core of the pitch.
Two premium phones, two clear roles
The Find X9 Ultra sits at the top of the lineup with a single configuration: 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. It carries a price of 1,69,999 rupees, placing it firmly in the flagship category.
The Find X9s starts at 79,999 rupees for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. OPPO also offers a 512 GB option, making the smaller model the more flexible choice for buyers who still want premium hardware without moving to the Ultra price tier.
Camera-first hardware remains the main attraction
Photography is the most important differentiator between the two phones. The Find X9 Ultra uses a Hasselblad-tuned quad-camera system built around a 200 MP main camera, a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera.
A 50 MP front camera completes the setup on the Ultra, and OPPO also says the system includes a 10x optical periscope lens. That combination makes the device the most camera-focused model in the series.
The Find X9s keeps the imaging focus alive with a smaller but still premium Hasselblad triple-camera arrangement. It pairs a 50 MP main camera with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 50 MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x zoom, while the front camera uses a 32 MP sensor.
Displays and performance differ by size and ambition
The Find X9 Ultra uses a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1440 x 3168 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. OPPO also claims a peak brightness level of up to 3,600 nits, which puts the phone in strong territory for outdoor visibility.
Power comes from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with Adreno 840 graphics and 12 GB of RAM. That hardware choice reinforces the Ultra’s role as the most powerful model in the series.
The Find X9s takes a more compact route with a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel. Its display runs at 120Hz, uses a 1256 x 2760 resolution, and also reaches up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness.
On the performance side, the Find X9s is listed with Dimensity 9500s in the specification table, while another description refers to MediaTek Dimensity 9500. It is paired with Mali-G720 graphics and 12 GB RAM, and the phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 just like the Ultra.
Battery size is a major selling point
Battery capacity is another area where OPPO is clearly aiming to stand out. The Find X9 Ultra carries a 7,050 mAh battery and supports 100W wired charging along with 50W wireless charging.
The Find X9s is nearly as large in this area, with a 7,025 mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging, and product details also mention both fast wired and wireless charging support.
Durability and availability round out the package
OPPO gives the Find X9 Ultra IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, while the Find X9s comes with IP68 and IP69 protection. Those certifications add another layer of appeal for buyers looking at premium devices with stronger resistance claims.
Both phones will be sold through Amazon, Flipkart, the official OPPO India website, and offline stores across India. OPPO also says the devices arrive in several premium color options, and it is offering launch incentives that include bank discounts of up to 17,000 rupees for the Find X9 Ultra and up to 8,000 rupees for the Find X9s.
The result is a two-tier launch that keeps the spotlight on photography, large batteries, and high-end displays. OPPO is making a clear attempt to cover both the no-compromise flagship buyer and the user who wants a premium experience at a lower starting price.
