Leica Camera And A 7,000 mAh Battery Put Xiaomi 17T Pro In Indonesia’s Premium Spot, Starting At Rp 11,999,000

A 7,000 mAh battery, Leica-branded cameras, and a 144 Hz AMOLED display place Xiaomi 17T Pro in a strong position in Indonesia’s premium smartphone segment. The device arrives with a starting price of Rp 11.999.000 and is aimed at users who want flagship-level hardware without moving far beyond the Rp 11 million range.

Xiaomi began offering the phone in Indonesia on 6 June 2026 through several marketplace partners. It was announced alongside Xiaomi 17T, and its arrival adds another high-end option to a market where camera quality, battery endurance, and fast charging have become major selling points.

Pricing and color choices

Xiaomi 17T Pro is sold in two storage variants, both paired with 12 GB of RAM. The 12 GB/256 GB model is priced at Rp 11.999.000, while the 12 GB/512 GB version costs Rp 12.999.000.

For the Indonesian market, Xiaomi also provides three color options: Black, Deep Violet, and Deep Blue. The lineup keeps the device focused on a premium look while giving buyers a choice of more restrained or more expressive finishes.

Leica camera system takes center stage

The most visible differentiator on Xiaomi 17T Pro is its Leica Summilux imaging system. The rear setup uses three cameras designed to handle everyday shots, portraits, and long-range zoom.

The main camera is a 50 MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with an f/1.67 aperture, OIS, and a 23 mm equivalent focal length. For zoom, Xiaomi includes a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with an f/3.0 aperture, OIS, a 115 mm equivalent focal length, and 5x optical zoom.

Completing the rear setup is a 12 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 15 mm equivalent focal length, and a 120-degree field of view. On the front, the phone uses a 32 MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout, with an f/2.2 aperture, a 90-degree field of view, and a 21 mm equivalent focal length.

Display, build, and durability

The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 2,772 x 1,280 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, while Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the front.

Its body measures 162.2 x 77.5 x 8.25 mm and weighs 219 grams. Xiaomi uses an aluminum frame, and the device carries an IP68 rating for resistance to water and dust.

Dimensity 9500 and a large battery

Inside, Xiaomi 17T Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 built on a 3 nm process. The chip combines an octa-core CPU reaching up to 4.21 GHz, a Mali G1 Ultra GPU, and an NPU 990 for AI tasks.

The hardware is matched with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage in 256 GB or 512 GB capacities. Xiaomi also includes its 3D IceLoop cooling system to help manage thermals during heavier use.

Battery capacity is another headline feature. The phone carries a 7,000 mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging, giving it one of the most notable power packages in its class.

Software and connectivity

On the software side, the device ships with Android 16 and HyperOS 3. Xiaomi also adds Hyper AI features, including AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Interpreter, and AI Creative Assistant.

Google services are present as well, with Circle to Search and Google Gemini included. Connectivity options cover 5G, Dual SIM, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Security features consist of Face Unlock and an in-display fingerprint sensor. With that combination, Xiaomi 17T Pro positions itself as a premium smartphone that pushes hard on imaging, endurance, and fast charging at a price below many traditional flagship rivals.
