Dot Matrix Display And Dimensity 7100 Put Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G On Alert In India

Author: Qoo Media

Infinix appears to be preparing a new mid-range phone that leans hard on two attention-grabbing features: a rear Dot Matrix display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 5G chipset. The device, said to be the Hot 70 Pro 5G, is shaping up as a more ambitious model than a typical budget release.

The early details suggest that Infinix is not relying on design alone. A large battery, fast charging, generous memory options, and Android 16-based software are all part of the package that has started to circulate ahead of launch.

A display setup built to stand out

The most unusual element in the leak is the Dot Matrix display on the back. Infinix has used secondary rear displays before, but this one is positioned as a visual highlight that can handle quick information and notifications without waking the main screen.

At the front, the phone is said to carry a 6.76-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout. That opening is expected to house an 8MP selfie camera for self-portraits and video calls.

Performance and camera details

Under the hood, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is linked to the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G. The chipset is reportedly paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, which points to a configuration aimed at more than just basic everyday use.

The rear camera setup is said to be led by a 50MP main sensor. The back panel also includes a dual flash unit alongside the Dot Matrix display, which helps make the device easy to recognize from the leaked information.

Big battery, fast charging, and new software

Battery life is another major part of the package. The Hot 70 Pro 5G is tipped to use a 6,000mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging.

That combination should appeal to users who want longer endurance without spending too much time plugged in. The same leak also says the phone will ship with XOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box, giving it a relatively current software platform from day one.

Positioning against the Hot 70 4G

The Hot 70 Pro 5G arrives in the conversation shortly after Infinix introduced the Hot 70 4G. The 4G model came with a temperature-sensitive rear design, although there is no confirmation that the 5G version will follow the same route.

Instead, the attention around the Pro 5G model is shifting toward a stronger hardware mix. The Dimensity 7100 5G, larger battery, and more spacious memory options make it look like the more feature-packed sibling on paper.

Launch timing and market focus

According to the leak tied to PassionateGeekz, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is heading for India. The reported launch window points to July–August 2026, although Infinix has not announced anything officially yet.

Pricing has also not been revealed. For context, the Hot 70 4G launched at BDT 18,999 for the 4GB/128GB version, BDT 21,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, and around BDT 25,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant.

With the Dot Matrix display, Dimensity 7100 5G, 50MP main camera, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging, the Hot 70 Pro 5G is already drawing attention before its official debut.
