HONOR has placed the X5c Plus in a crowded entry-level segment, but its combination of a 5,260 mAh battery, 128GB storage, and a price of Rp2.299.000 gives it a clear selling point. The device is aimed at buyers who want a practical phone for daily use without moving into a higher price bracket.
The model also reflects HONOR’s broader push to make more accessible technology available to a wider audience. Aryo Meidianto A, Head of Public Relations Trinova Digital Indonesia, the brand’s official distributor in Indonesia, said the company believes better technology should be available to everyone.
Large battery, modest body
The HONOR X5c Plus uses a symmetrical, minimalist design with rounded corners meant to feel comfortable in the hand. It measures 7.89 mm thick and weighs around 186 grams, while the frame is said to offer solid impact resistance.
On the front, the phone carries a 6.74-inch display with a peak brightness of 450 nits. HONOR also includes Dynamic Dimming, a feature intended to reduce light exposure that can cause eye fatigue during long viewing sessions.
Daily performance and long-term endurance
Under the hood, the HONOR X5c Plus runs on the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. The configuration pairs 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, giving the device enough room for everyday apps, media, and files.
The battery is one of the phone’s biggest attractions. HONOR says the 5,260 mAh cell is designed for long-term durability, with battery health still above 80% after more than 1,000 charge and discharge cycles.
Practical software and security
The phone ships with MagicOS 9.0, which adds features such as Magic Capsule on the notification banner for quick access to apps that are already running.
For security, HONOR offers two biometric options: Side Fingerprint Unlock and Face Unlock. Together, they give users more convenient ways to unlock the phone in different situations.
Camera features with AI support
Photography is led by a 50MP main camera with AI Object Recognition. The function helps identify and separate the subject from the background, making the result feel more focused.
At the front, the phone uses a 5MP selfie camera for self-portraits and video calls. HONOR also adds AI Photo Sharpness Enhancement, which is useful for improving clarity when capturing documents or text.
Price and availability
HONOR X5c Plus will go on sale nationwide starting 15 June 2025 through HONOR Experience Store, Erafone, official retail partners, and partner e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. It will be offered in Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black.
