OnePlus has introduced two new smartphones that share one clear selling point: a 144Hz display. The OnePlus Turbo 6X and OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro also stand out because both lean on MediaTek Dimensity Super Series chipsets and unusually large batteries for their class.
The pair is aimed at users who want speed, endurance, and a screen that feels smooth in daily use or gaming. OnePlus is positioning the Turbo 6X line as a practical choice for people who spend long hours on their phones.
Display is where the two models split apart
The standard Turbo 6X comes with a 6.72-inch LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution at 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Turbo 6X Pro moves up to a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution.
Both models support a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and gameplay feel notably smoother. The Pro version also reaches a much higher peak brightness of 6,500 nits, compared with 1,000 nits on the regular model.
Performance and memory follow a familiar pattern
For processing power, the OnePlus Turbo 6X uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super, while the Turbo 6X Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 7400 Super. Both phones can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The regular Turbo 6X keeps one extra advantage that the Pro does not offer: a TF card slot for expansion up to 2TB. That detail may matter for buyers who still prefer expandable storage over relying only on built-in capacity.
Battery capacity is the most obvious headline feature
OnePlus gives the Turbo 6X a 7,000mAh battery, while the Turbo 6X Pro goes further with an 8,000mAh unit. With those figures, the two models rank among the largest-battery smartphones OnePlus has released.
The company also includes DC dimming on both devices, along with touch optimization that keeps the screen responsive even when used with gloves, wet hands, or oily fingers. Those additions fit the phones’ focus on everyday durability and comfort.
Prices and color options are already set
The OnePlus Turbo 6X starts at CNY 1,899 for the 8GB/128GB version. The 8GB/256GB model is priced at CNY 1,999, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs CNY 2,299.
Color choices for the Turbo 6X include White, Cloud Green, and Starry Black. For the Turbo 6X Pro, OnePlus offers Heartbeat Orange and Prancing Horse Black.
The Turbo 6X Pro starts at CNY 1,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, rises to CNY 2,099 for 8GB/256GB, and reaches CNY 2,399 for 12GB/256GB. Both phones are open for pre-order in China and are scheduled to go on sale on 15 June 2026.
With a 144Hz display on both models, a clear step-up in the Pro version, and battery sizes that go far beyond the usual mainstream range, the Turbo 6X series is entering the mid-range segment with a strong endurance-first message.
