Logitech is betting that portability can finally convince more people to carry a mouse everywhere they work. The company has introduced Mobi Fold, its first folding mouse, aimed at professionals who move between airports, cafes, and temporary workspaces without wanting to give up the feel of a conventional mouse.
The product arrives at a time when flexible work has made mobility a bigger priority. Many users already own a mouse for productivity, but Logitech says the size and inconvenience of carrying one often keep it at home instead of in a bag.
A folding design built for movement
The main attraction of Mobi Fold is its foldable structure, which lets it shrink into a form compact enough for a pocket or a small bag. Once opened, it returns to a familiar mouse shape designed for longer use.
Logitech says the design can help reduce muscle strain by up to 22 percent compared with using a laptop trackpad. Joseph Mingori, VP and General Manager at Logitech, said many people do not avoid a mouse because they dislike it, but because carrying it is inconvenient.
Features focused on daily productivity
Portability is only part of the pitch. Mobi Fold also includes auto power on when opened and auto power off when folded, helping it fit a fast-paced working routine.
For navigation, the mouse uses Adaptive Touch Scrolling, which allows users to switch between precise movement and faster scrolling. That should be especially useful when working through spreadsheets or long documents.
There are also two customizable buttons that can be configured in Logi Options+ for shortcuts such as app switching or instant screenshots.
Built to move across devices
Connectivity is another major focus. Mobi Fold supports up to three devices at once through Bluetooth and works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux.
That flexibility makes it easier for people who move between laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Logitech has also added quiet-clicks technology so the mouse is less disruptive in public spaces such as libraries, waiting rooms, and cafes.
Durability, battery life, and availability
Despite its compact size, Logitech says the mouse is built for long-term use. It has undergone drop testing, uses a dust-resistant silicone cover, and includes an internal hinge that is claimed to last up to 15 years of daily use.
Battery performance is another selling point. Logitech says one minute of charging can deliver up to 22 hours of use, while a full charge can last up to 30 days.
The device is also Logitech’s first input product to receive Fast Pair certification for Google users, reducing the time needed to connect with compatible devices.
For Indonesia, Mobi Fold will be sold in Graphite and Off-White, two finishes that are meant to suit both professional and minimalist preferences. Logitech also says the product was designed with sustainability in mind, using some post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled rare earth metal materials.
Mobi Fold will be available in Indonesia starting in June 2026 through Logitech’s official online and offline stores. The price is set at Rp1.509.000.
That positioning makes Mobi Fold less like a novelty accessory and more like an attempt to solve a simple problem for mobile workers: how to carry a mouse that still feels practical when it is time to get serious work done.
