OnePlus is preparing to shake up the midrange segment with the Turbo 6X series, and the biggest talking point is not performance alone. The lineup combines unusually large batteries, new MediaTek chips, and pricing that still targets the middle of the market.
The most aggressive model is the Turbo 6X Pro, which has already been confirmed with an 8,000mAh battery. OnePlus China president Li Jie and the company’s official Weibo account have both backed that detail, making it one of the largest batteries ever used in a OnePlus phone.
Turbo 6X Pro focuses on endurance and durability
Beyond the battery, the Turbo 6X Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super Edition. It also uses a Samsung-made 1.5K display panel, a combination aimed at balancing efficiency, clarity, and everyday usability.
OnePlus has also confirmed a long list of protection ratings for the device, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. That means the phone is designed to handle dust, water exposure, and even high-pressure water jets with a level of protection that is unusual for this class.
The standard Turbo 6X takes a more balanced route
The regular Turbo 6X keeps the same family identity but with a slightly lighter hardware package. It pairs a 7,000mAh battery with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Super, keeping the emphasis on stamina while stepping back from the Pro model’s higher-end positioning.
Its display is a 144Hz LCD panel, and OnePlus says it includes flicker-free eye care for more comfortable viewing. The company also says the phone meets military-grade durability standards for daily use.
ColorOS 16 and Android 16 come out of the box
Both phones will launch with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, giving the series the latest software platform from day one. That should bring current Android features together with OnePlus’ own performance and power-efficiency tuning.
Pre-orders are already open on the official OnePlus China website, where the company has revealed the color options and memory configurations for both models. The Turbo 6X comes in One in a Million, Starry Black, and Threading on Clouds, while the Turbo 6X Pro will be offered in Black Prancing Horse and Heart’s Desire Orange.
Pricing keeps the series in midrange territory
According to official information, the OnePlus Turbo 6X series will be priced around CNY 1,500, or about Rp3,4 juta. That keeps the lineup positioned as a value play, especially for buyers who want a very large battery without moving into flagship pricing.
Both phones are offered in the same memory options: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Additional leaked details suggest the Turbo 6X may also feature a 6.72-inch display, dual rear cameras with 50MP and 2MP sensors, an 8MP front camera, and 45W wired charging.
Li Jie has said the Turbo 6X series will be introduced in China before 18 June 2026. With its combination of large batteries, newer MediaTek chips, and a launch price aimed at the midrange, the lineup is shaping up as one of OnePlus’ most distinctive releases in that segment.
