The timing reflects how many users now move between virtual meetings, travel, and multiple devices in a single day. In that context, soundcore is leaning on AI features to make the earbuds act more like a smart companion than a conventional audio accessory.
AI processing at the center
At the heart of the Liberty 5 Pro Series is the Thus AI Chip, which processes surrounding conditions in real time. soundcore says the chip helps improve call quality, noise reduction, and the listening experience by adapting to the environment as it changes.
The company also says the AI architecture delivers up to 150 times higher computing capability through Compute-in-Memory. That technical approach helped the series earn a Guinness World Records title as the “World’s Clearest Earbuds for Calls.”
Built for clearer calls in difficult places
One of the most important features in the lineup is Whisper-Clear Calls, which is designed to keep voices clear in crowded spaces. That includes streets, airports, and public transport, where background noise often makes phone calls difficult.
To separate the user’s voice from surrounding noise, soundcore combines the Thus AI Chip with 10 smart sensors, eight high-performance microphones, and two bone-conduction sensors. The system is designed to work in real time, even when the user speaks at a normal volume or in a whisper.
Work support goes beyond calls
The series is also aimed at mobile professionals who frequently switch between smartphones, tablets, and laptops. soundcore says the earbuds are meant to make that transition smoother while keeping communication and audio use consistent across devices.
The Liberty 5 Pro Max adds AI Recording, AI Summary, and AI Translation. According to soundcore, those tools are intended for people who attend meetings, travel for business, create content, or collaborate with teams and clients.
With those features, users can record important conversations, get automatic summaries, and use AI-powered translation. soundcore describes the Liberty 5 Pro Max as a productivity companion in a single device.
Personalized sound and immersive playback
For audio performance, the Liberty 5 Pro Series uses HearID 5.0 to learn a user’s hearing profile. The system then adjusts the sound signature based on individual preferences so the listening experience feels more personal.
The earbuds also support Dolby Atmos, LDAC, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio. Those formats are intended to deliver more detail and immersion when listening to music, watching films, or playing podcasts.
AI Audio Enhancement, driven by the Thus AI Chip, is also part of the package. soundcore says it helps maintain clarity and detail so the sound remains lively and consistent across different types of content.
Battery, durability, and pricing
For everyday mobility, the Liberty 5 Pro Series offers up to 50 hours of battery life with the charging case. A five-minute charge can provide up to four hours of use through fast charging, which is useful for users who are often on the move.
The earbuds carry an IP55 rating, giving them protection against dust and water splashes. In Indonesia, the ANKER soundcore Liberty 5 Pro is priced at Rp2.999.000, while the Liberty 5 Pro Max is sold for Rp3.999.000.
