Asus’ Tiny IP67 Speaker Packs 10 Hours of Playback and Auracast for Just 139 Yuan

Asus has added a new name to the budget portable audio segment with the Adol PO102, a compact Bluetooth speaker launched in China for 139 yuan. The model stands out because it pairs an IP67 rating with up to 10 hours of battery life, two features that are still not always common at this price level.

The appeal is not limited to durability alone. Asus also built in Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast broadcast audio, and microSD-based offline playback, giving the small speaker a feature set that looks more ambitious than its size suggests.

Built for easy carrying

The Adol PO102 is clearly aimed at users who want something light and practical. It weighs 200 grams and measures 109.5 x 82.5 x 38 mm, which makes it easy to slip into a bag or even a larger coat pocket.

Asus used a fabric grille and an anti-slip silicone shell on the outside. The combination is designed to improve grip while also giving the speaker a tougher everyday feel for both indoor and outdoor use.

A built-in strap adds another mobility-focused touch. Users can hang it from a bag or clip it to a backpack for travel, commuting, or casual outdoor listening.

The speaker comes in Meteorite Gray, Iris Purple, and Sage Green. That color range gives the small device a less utilitarian look than many entry-level portable speakers.

Durability is the main selling point

One of the biggest highlights of the Adol PO102 is its IP67 certification. In practical terms, that means the speaker is fully protected against dust and can survive immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

For a speaker priced at 139 yuan, that level of protection is a strong differentiator. It makes the device more suitable for outdoor trips, wet environments, and situations where accidental splashes are possible.

Asus paired that protection with a 2,600mAh battery. The company says the speaker can play music continuously for up to 10 hours at 50% volume.

When it is time to recharge, the Adol PO102 uses a USB-C port. A full charge is said to take around two to three hours.

Modern wireless features in a small package

Connectivity is another area where Asus did not keep things too basic. The Adol PO102 uses Bluetooth 6.0 and is said to offer a wireless range of up to 10 meters.

It also supports Auracast broadcast audio, which allows compatible devices to receive the same audio stream at the same time. That makes the speaker more flexible in shared listening situations.

For users who want a wider setup, Asus added TWS pairing. With that feature, two Adol PO102 units can be linked for stereo output, or multiple compatible speakers can be arranged in a broader audio setup.

Those additions help the speaker feel more current than many ultra-budget models. Asus appears to be targeting buyers who want low cost, but still expect features tied to modern wireless audio ecosystems.

Simple audio hardware with practical extras

Audio output is rated at 6W, which is in line with a compact speaker meant for personal listening or small groups. It is not positioned as a high-power model, but rather as a convenient everyday option.

Asus also included a microSD or TF card slot. That allows music playback without relying on a smartphone or an internet connection.

A built-in microphone expands the device’s usefulness further. It can handle hands-free phone calls, turning the small speaker into a more versatile accessory for daily use.

By combining speaker output, offline playback, and call support, the Adol PO102 goes beyond a basic audio product. It is designed as a compact companion for users who want portability, durability, and a few extra conveniences in one low-priced package.

The launch gives consumers another option in the crowded portable speaker market, but with a clear focus on toughness and modern connectivity. For 139 yuan, the Adol PO102 tries to deliver a mix of rugged design, long battery life, and features that are usually associated with more expensive speakers.
