realme has pushed the mid-range segment into a more battery-focused direction with the P4R 5G. The device stands out first for endurance, combining an 8,000mAh battery with a 144Hz display and positioning long use time as its main selling point.

According to realme, the battery is the largest in its class, and the company says it can deliver up to three days of use on a single charge. That claim places the phone among the more aggressive battery-first offerings in the segment.

Charging tools built around the large battery

The 8,000mAh cell is paired with 45W SUPERVOOC Fast Charging, giving the phone a faster top-up path than its size might suggest. realme also includes Bypass Charging, One-Tap Cooling, and Reverse Charging up to 6.5W for added flexibility.

The company says the P4R 5G can run Free Fire for up to 12.5 hours. Other stated endurance figures include 157.4 hours of music playback, 26.9 hours of navigation, and 21.6 hours of YouTube viewing.

realme also says the battery health is designed to last up to seven years of use. That kind of claim reinforces the phone’s message that it is built for long-term ownership, not just short daily sessions.

Display and performance stay focused on balance

On the front, the P4R 5G uses a 6.81-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, which should make scrolling and animation smoother.

Brightness reaches up to 1,200 nits, while the display also offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 16.7 million colors, 100% sRGB in Natural mode, and 83% DCI-P3 in Vivid mode. realme describes it as one of the brightest screens in its segment with 144Hz support.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone also uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,300 mm² Vapor Chamber is included to help keep temperatures under control during longer sessions.

Software, cameras, and AI features

realme P4R 5G runs realme UI 7.0 based on Flux Engine. The company says this setup makes daily responsiveness 15% faster, app scrolling 29% smoother, and heavy app loading 22% more fluid.

The phone is promised two major Android updates and three years of security updates. For buyers who want a longer software lifecycle, that support window adds practical value beyond the hardware itself.

A 50MP AI main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary sensor sits on the back, while an 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, Gemini AI, Gemini Live with Screen Sharing, and AI Select & Search are also included.

With Gemini Live, users can discuss an object they are looking at through the camera. That feature, together with the other AI tools, gives the phone a more feature-heavy software profile than many basic mid-range models.

Durability, lights, and market availability

One of the more distinctive additions is AI Pulse Light, which offers nine color choices and five animation speeds. It can also react to music from Spotify and YouTube Music, giving the phone a more expressive look.

The P4R 5G carries IP65 certification and has passed MIL-STD-810H durability testing. Connectivity options include 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou, while NFC and eSIM are not supported.

In India, the phone is available in three variants: 4GB + 128GB for INR 18,999, 6GB + 128GB for INR 20,999, and 6GB + 256GB for INR 22,999. Color choices are Silver Glare, Lavender Glare, and Titanium Glare, with first sales set to begin on 17 June through realme channels, Flipkart, and selected retail partners.

realme is also offering an instant discount of up to INR 2,000 or no-cost EMI for three months. That pricing and launch package underline the company’s effort to make the P4R 5G an easy recommendation for users who value battery life above all else.
