Polytron Fox 500 has emerged as one of the most attention-grabbing electric scooters at GJAW 2025, thanks to a mix of premium styling, a strong feature list, and an aggressive promotional price. The model is positioned as Polytron’s flagship and is clearly aimed at buyers who want more than a basic urban commuter.
The most striking part is the price cut during the exhibition. With a regular price in the Rp43 million range, Fox 500 is being offered at around Rp38.1 million for buyers at the show, making it far easier to notice in a crowded electric vehicle segment.
Power and range that target daily use
Polytron equips the Fox 500 with a 5,000 watt electric motor. That setup allows the scooter to reach a top speed of 130 km/h, which puts it in a more serious performance bracket than many city-focused alternatives.
The company also claims a riding range of up to 130 kilometers on a single charge. For commuters and riders who want a machine that can handle routine travel without frequent charging stops, that figure is one of the model’s biggest selling points.
A larger body with premium scooter styling
Compared with the Fox-R and Fox-S, the Fox 500 arrives with a larger body size and a stronger premium scooter presence. The design leans into a modern, upscale look rather than a compact entry-level approach.
A large front windshield is fitted to improve rider protection, while the full LED headlamp uses a distinctive cat-ear-inspired shape. DRLs are also part of the package, helping the scooter stand out with a futuristic visual identity.
Comfort and practicality get real attention
Polytron has also focused on ergonomics. The footboard area is wide, and the stepped seat is designed to keep both rider and passenger comfortable on longer trips.
The seat itself is described as being comparable in size to premium scooters such as the Yamaha XMAX, which shows where Polytron wants Fox 500 to sit in the market. For everyday use, the scooter also uses a combined analog and digital instrument panel that shows speed, battery level, time, and trip meter data.
Features that usually matter in a higher class
The Fox 500 includes cruise control, reverse assist, parking mode, hazard lights, a passing lamp, and three riding modes: Eco, Drive, and Sport. Those features give it a more complete feel and help support the idea that this is not just another basic electric scooter.
Cruise control is especially notable because it is still uncommon in this price segment. Polytron appears to be using the Fox 500 to show that feature content can be as important as raw performance in the electric scooter market.
Security is handled with a magnetic key system, and the switch is coated in rubber to reduce the risk of interference from water splashes. It is a practical detail that supports the scooter’s everyday usability.
Chassis, braking, and drive layout
To support stability, the Fox 500 rides on 110/70-14 front tires and 140-14 rear tires. Disc brakes are used at both ends, giving the scooter a more reassuring braking setup for regular road use.
Its drive system uses a fan belt paired with a centrally mounted electric motor. Together, these elements complete the Fox 500’s positioning as a premium electric scooter that is built for daily riding rather than short-distance novelty.
With a stronger specification sheet and a much lower promo price at GJAW 2025, Polytron Fox 500 has enough weight to challenge attention in a market that is becoming increasingly crowded. The combination of 5,000 watt output, 130 km claimed range, and a more complete feature set gives it a clear identity among electric scooters on display.
