Amazfit has brought the Cheetah 2 Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra to Indonesia with a clear target in mind: runners who care about training detail, navigation accuracy, and endurance. The two smartwatches are positioned as performance tools rather than general-purpose wearables.
The lineup splits its focus by running style. The Cheetah 2 Pro is aimed at marathon and road runners, while the Cheetah 2 Ultra is built for trail runners and endurance athletes who need a tougher watch for more demanding terrain.
Training tools for runners who want more than step counts
The Cheetah 2 Pro includes Zepp Coach AI, which can build training programs up to full marathon level. It also tracks more advanced running metrics, including running power, lactate threshold, ground contact time, and running posture.
For navigation, the Pro model uses dual-band GPS with support for six satellite systems. It also supports offline maps and route navigation, which should help runners stay on course during structured workouts.
Platform support is also part of the package. The Cheetah 2 Pro works with TrainingPeaks, Runna, Intervals.icu, and Strava, making it easier for users to connect training data across popular fitness services.
Built for harsher outdoor use
The Cheetah 2 Ultra takes a more rugged approach for outdoor athletes. Amazfit uses Grade 5 Titanium and sapphire glass on the watch, and says it is designed to meet military-grade durability standards.
Its 1.5-inch AMOLED display reaches up to 3,000 nits of brightness, giving it a larger and brighter screen for reading maps and workout data outdoors. The watch also supports faster offline map processing and an elevation overview feature for trail activity.
To support longer sessions outside, the Ultra includes 64 GB of internal storage and comes with two strap options, silicone and nylon. That combination makes it the more flexible choice for users who spend more time on trails and in extended endurance sessions.
Premium materials, long battery life
The Pro model also uses Grade 5 Titanium, paired with sapphire glass on its 1.32-inch AMOLED display. Amazfit says the watch is designed to stay light while still feeling sturdy enough for intensive use.
Battery life is one of the clearest differences between the two models. The Cheetah 2 Pro is rated for up to 31 hours in GPS mode and up to 20 days in normal use.
The Cheetah 2 Ultra goes further, with up to 60 hours in GPS mode and up to 30 days in normal use. For runners who regularly train far from roads or need longer navigation sessions, that extra endurance may matter more than the price gap.
Price and availability in Indonesia
Amazfit started selling the Cheetah 2 Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra in Indonesia on 10 June 2026. The launch expands its running-focused smartwatch lineup for users who want more advanced training and navigation support.
The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is priced at Rp 7,799,000, while the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Ultra costs Rp 10,499,000. With those prices, the brand is clearly separating the two models by use case, with the Pro leaning toward structured road training and the Ultra aimed at tougher outdoor conditions.
Both watches share the same core idea, but they serve different runner profiles. That makes the choice less about whether the watches can track activity, and more about how seriously the user takes long-distance training and route planning.
