Rising gadget prices have made the Rp4 million tablet segment one of the most practical places to look for a new device. In this range, buyers can still get tablets that are strong enough for work, study, and gaming without stepping into a much more expensive class.
The appeal is no longer limited to a big screen or long battery life. Brands are now adding features once reserved for premium tablets, including faster chipsets, 5G or 4G LTE connectivity, longer software support, and desktop-like functions.
1. Poco Pad M1, the performance-first option
Poco Pad M1 is aimed at users who want raw speed at an aggressive price. It uses the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4, a 12.1-inch 25K 120Hz display, and a 12,000 mAh battery with 27W reverse charging.
The tablet also comes with 256 GB of storage and HyperOS 2. Its estimated price sits around Rp4.3 million, placing it close to the upper edge of the Rp4 million class.
2. Redmi Pad 2 Pro, close in hardware with a more refined look
Redmi Pad 2 Pro shares much of the same DNA as the Poco Pad M1. It also carries the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4, a 12.1-inch 25K display, and a 12,000 mAh battery.
Its main distinction is styling, including the more fashionable Lavender Purple color option. The tablet adds Dolby Vision, WiFi 6, HyperOS 2, and quad speakers, with an estimated price of Rp4.6 million.
3. Infinix XPad 20 Pro, built for mobility
For people who move around often, the Infinix XPad 20 Pro stands out with standalone 4G LTE and a dedicated SIM slot. It features a 12-inch 2K display, MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate, 8 GB of RAM with expansion support, and 256 GB of storage.
Infinix also adds AI tools such as Folax, AI Screen Recognition, and AI Summary for reading and summarizing material. The device is 6.58 mm thick, includes 4 Speaker Symphony audio, and is priced at around Rp4.1 million.
4. Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus 5G, strong on software support
Samsung’s strongest advantage on the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus 5G is its promised software updates for up to 7 years. The tablet also supports Samsung DeX, which changes the interface into something closer to a computer or laptop.
Performance comes from the Dimensity 7300, while AI features include Circle to Search, Gemini, and handwriting-based question answering. The display is still TFT LCD, and the charger is not included in the box. Its estimated price is Rp4.3 million for the 5G version.
5. Huawei MatePad 11.5 Inch (2024), the productivity-focused choice
Huawei MatePad 11.5 Inch (2024) is designed for users who want a tablet that can replace part of a laptop’s role in a compact body. It uses an aluminum unibody design that is 6.8 mm thick and weighs 499 grams, with a 11.5-inch FullView 2.2K display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
For productivity, Huawei includes PC-Level WPS Office, Huawei Notes with Note Replay and Split Screen, an 8 MP front camera with FollowCam, plus support for the Huawei M-Pencil Gen 3 and Smart Keyboard. Its estimated price is around Rp4.2 million.
In a market where gadget prices continue to climb, these five tablets show that Rp4 million is still a meaningful budget. Some are better for gaming and multitasking, some are stronger on connectivity, and others are clearly tuned for daily work and laptop-style productivity.
