Schneider Electric has brought its OffGrid Portable Power Station to Indonesia, positioning the device as a practical answer for two very different situations: outdoor trips and unexpected power cuts at home.
The arrival of the product comes as interest in nature travel continues to rise. At the same time, portable power has become increasingly relevant for users who want to stay connected away from the electrical grid.
Built for travel, ready for emergencies
The OffGrid Portable Power Station is designed for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Schneider also places it in the home as a backup power source for emergency use when electricity goes out.
According to Schneider Electric Indonesia, electricity needs are no longer limited to homes and offices. They now extend outdoors as well, for work, lifestyle, and emergency situations.

Multiple devices can be charged
Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station can charge a range of electronics, including smartphones, laptops, cameras, and other low-power devices.
To support that use case, Schneider equipped it with several connectivity options. The device includes AC outlets, USB-A, USB-C, DC ports, an additional car socket, and wireless charging.
Those ports make the unit flexible in many scenarios. Users can rely on it while working outdoors, documenting trips, or keeping communication devices running during a blackout.
The company says the product has a premium design that remains lightweight and durable. That balance matters for a portable power unit that must be easy to carry without sacrificing reliability.
Can be charged at home, in a car, and with solar panels
One of the main selling points is charging flexibility. The unit can be recharged through a household outlet or a car socket.
Schneider OffGrid is also compatible with solar panels. That makes it more suitable for extended outdoor activities or use in places that are difficult to reach through the power grid.

For added safety and convenience, Schneider OffGrid includes an ambient LED light. It also offers a flashing SOS mode that can be useful in emergencies.
The unit comes with an LCD screen that lets users monitor battery capacity and operating status in real time.

Sustainability is also part of the product design. Schneider says the OffGrid is made with 60% post-consumer recycled plastic.
The packaging is also said to be 100% recyclable. In addition, an Eco Mode automatically turns the power off when the device is not in use to help save energy.

Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station is now available in Indonesia through Schneider Electric’s official website, the official APC store, and various e-commerce platforms.
In the Indonesian market, the device is priced starting at Rp 4.9 million. With that position, Schneider enters the portable power segment with a product that combines outdoor utility, home backup support, and more flexible charging options.
