Vivo X Fold 6 Pushes Battery Limits, A 7,000mAh Foldable With ZEISS 200MP

Vivo X Fold 6 stands out for a reason that is still uncommon in the foldable category: a 7,000mAh battery paired with a ZEISS 200MP main camera. In a market where many foldables still trade endurance and imaging for thinness, Vivo is positioning this model as a serious productivity device instead.

The company has outlined the phone’s core specifications ahead of its June 26, 2026 launch in China. Vivo is framing the X Fold 6 as a premium foldable built around AI-driven productivity, large-screen multitasking, and a more capable hardware package for daily use.

Built for work on a larger screen

At the center of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, paired with Vivo’s Blue Crystal technology. The phone also runs OriginOS 6 Fold, a software layer designed for large foldable displays and multi-threaded interaction.

Vivo has also upgraded its Atomic Workbench feature. It supports serial and parallel task modes, allowing multiple apps to run together on one screen.

The company says the phone is designed to function as a reliable AI productivity tool. Users can combine AI workflows with large-screen multitasking, then switch to desktop-style modes and PC-level WPS support while working on the move.

A rare 7,000mAh battery in a foldable body

The biggest attention-grabber may be the battery. Every variant is said to carry a 7,000mAh capacity, which is unusual for a foldable phone.

Vivo uses fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology and a third-generation semi-solid-state design. The combination is meant to address one of the biggest challenges in foldables, keeping capacity high without making the body too thick.

ZEISS 200MP camera takes the lead

Photography also receives a major push. The Vivo X Fold 6 uses a ZEISS 200MP main camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and CIPA 4.5 stabilization.

It is joined by a ZEISS APO 50MP telephoto camera based on a 1/1.95-inch sensor, along with the Vivo V3+ imaging chip. The device also supports the optional ZEISS Teleconverter G2 accessory, Dolby Vision 4K 60fps recording, and full flash zoom capability.

Durability and display materials

For durability, Vivo says the phone carries IPX8 and IPX9 certification, plus IP5X dust resistance. It is also said to support underwater folding, while connectivity is reinforced by Vivo’s self-developed 1+4 communication chipset system.

On the display side, the inner screen uses Samsung M14 material. The outer display is protected by second-generation Armour Glass for added resistance.

Configurations, colors, and pricing

Vivo X Fold 6 is expected to arrive in several memory configurations, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. Color options are said to include green, black, white, and black-gold.

Starting prices are expected from 9,999 Yuan, or around Rp 26.4 million. The black-gold version is said to be exclusive to the 16GB+1TB model, giving Vivo a clearly premium option for users who want the highest specification tier.
