Apple’s latest pricing move in India is forcing many buyers to revisit their plans before making a purchase. The increases now reach across Mac, iPad, Apple TV 4K, and HomePod products, with some models jumping by as much as ₹50,000.
The sharpest pressure is on the Mac lineup, where even entry-level and mid-tier options are no longer at their earlier price points. That shift matters because it changes the entry cost for users who had been waiting to move into Apple’s ecosystem.
Mac prices take the biggest hit
Among the most notable changes, the Mac Mini M4 256GB now costs ₹82,900, up from ₹59,900. The Mac Mini M4 Pro has climbed even further, moving to ₹1,99,900 from ₹1,49,900.
MacBook Pro 1TB has also risen by ₹50,000, now listed at ₹2,39,900 instead of ₹1,89,900. MacBook Air M5 has gone up to ₹1,49,900 from ₹1,20,900, while MacBook Neo is now priced at ₹79,900, compared with ₹69,900 earlier.
These changes show that Apple’s adjustment is not limited to its premium laptops. The new pricing affects a wider range of Mac models, which could reshape upgrade decisions for buyers who were targeting a lower entry point.
iPad models are also significantly more expensive
The iPad lineup in India has seen similarly steep increases. iPad Mini is now ₹69,900, up from ₹49,900, while iPad Air M4 has moved to ₹89,900 from ₹64,900.
The largest jump in the tablet range is on iPad Pro M5. It now sells for ₹1,39,900, compared with ₹99,990 previously, making it one of the most dramatic changes in the revised pricing list.
With those adjustments, the gap between iPad models has shifted as well. Buyers considering a specific configuration may now find that the difference between models no longer feels as manageable as before.
Home entertainment and audio products are not spared
Apple’s price revision also extends to devices such as Apple TV 4K and HomePod. Apple TV 4K 64GB has increased to ₹25,900 from ₹14,900, while the 128GB version has risen to ₹31,900 from ₹16,900.
HomePod now stands at ₹44,900, up from ₹32,900, and HomePod mini has moved from ₹10,900 to ₹15,900. The increases make it clear that Apple’s latest pricing pressure is affecting both core computing products and home-focused devices.
For buyers who had been planning to expand an Apple setup at home, the revised price list may change what feels affordable. Even products positioned below the laptop and tablet tiers now require a higher budget than before.

Why the prices are climbing
The increase is linked to higher component costs during the AI boom. Memory makers are reportedly giving priority to AI data centers over consumer devices, which has pushed up component prices.
That situation is raising production costs across the board, making it harder for companies to keep pricing stable. For Apple, the pressure is now visible in India’s retail prices across multiple product categories.
As a result, shoppers who had already mapped out a Mac or iPad purchase may need to revise their budget once again. The higher base prices also mean seasonal discounts may feel less compelling than before, even when promotions return.
