Motorola has positioned the Moto Pad 70 Pro as more than a larger-screen Android tablet. The device combines a 13-inch 3.5K panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performance, and a 10,200mAh battery in a thin metal body.
That mix places the tablet squarely in the premium segment, where display quality, battery life, and software support matter as much as raw speed. Motorola is also bundling the Moto Pen Pro in the box, while a snap-on keyboard is available for users who want a more PC-like workflow.
Display and multimedia first
The 13-inch display is one of the main reasons the Moto Pad 70 Pro stands out. Motorola pairs 3.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, Dolby Vision, and brightness of up to 800 nits.
Audio support is equally ambitious, with four JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos included. That combination makes the tablet suitable for watching video, reading, gaming, drawing, and general entertainment.
Performance aimed at demanding users
Under the hood, the tablet runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Motorola says the device can score more than 2.5 million on AnTuTu and supports gaming at up to 120fps.
Storage can also be expanded through microSD cards up to 2TB. That flexibility should appeal to users who keep large creative files, videos, and documents on a single device.
The Moto Pad 70 Pro ships with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has also confirmed Android 17 and Android 18 upgrades, along with security updates through 2030.
AI tools and desktop-style use
Motorola is leaning heavily on AI-powered pen features through the Moto Pen Pro. The list includes Smart Capture, Sketch to Image, AI Super Res, AI Live Transcript, AI Notes, and Smarter Reader.
The tablet also supports Smart Connect and Desk Mode, both designed to make the experience closer to a desktop setup. For buyers who want physical input, the optional snap-on keyboard adds a touchpad, a dedicated Smart Key, and a workflow built around PC-style use.
Battery, build, and cameras
Battery life is another major selling point, with a 10,200mAh cell and 45W fast charging support. Motorola includes a 68W charger in the retail box, which adds extra value for buyers.
The body uses a full-metal design that measures 6.2mm thick and weighs 589 grams. For a tablet with a 13-inch display, that keeps the device relatively slim and manageable.
Camera hardware is modest but practical, with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Connectivity is also current, as the tablet supports Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 7.
