ZTE and GSMA are turning MWC26 Shanghai into a bigger stage for the future of telecom, AI, and digital growth in ASEAN. By aligning two major events in one location, the companies are setting up a concentrated forum for industry leaders who are watching how networks, intelligence, and digital economies evolve together.
The partnership places ZTE Global Summit & User Congress and GSMA M360 ASEAN side by side in Shanghai. ZTE’s 15th Global Summit & User Congress will run on 8–9 September 2026, followed by GSMA M360 ASEAN on 9–10 September 2026.
A combined agenda for network and digital change
The two events are designed to gather global ICT leaders, telecom operators, and technology experts in one place. Their shared agenda focuses on practical network evolution, more inclusive AI deployment, and progress in ASEAN’s digital economy.
ZTE Corporation has already signed an agreement to become a strategic partner for GSMA M360 ASEAN. The collaboration is intended to combine ZTE’s technology strengths with GSMA’s industry reach, creating a more open and efficient communication platform for the sector.
ZTE’s summit theme points to long-term value
ZTE Global Summit & User Congress 15 carries the theme “Architecting Infinity – From Connectivity to Digital Value.” The program is structured into four chapters that move from digital infrastructure to measurable outcomes.
VISION opens the summit with a look at the next phase of digital transformation. It is set to explore the digital direction of the next five years, including the global digital economy and ASEAN’s vision for its digital future.
VOLUME shifts the focus to intelligent infrastructure, highlighting ZTE’s end-to-end capabilities for digital transformation. Topics include AI for Network, Network for AI, data centers, computing, cloud, energy, and autonomous networks.
VALUE brings in real-world cases and operator perspectives to show how digital transformation can create measurable business impact. The session is positioned as the most practical part of the program, with operators expected to share implementation experience.
VENTURE closes the summit with discussion about new value creation. Industry leaders will examine fresh opportunities, stronger digital ecosystems, and the next phase of value generation.
What participants can expect in Shanghai
Over the two days, attendees will be able to follow keynote sessions, industry panels, product launches, exhibition tours, and robot demonstrations. The event is expected to draw government leaders, telecom executives, ecosystem partners, industry analysts, and media from around the world.
For the telecom sector, the timing of the two events is notable because it places network strategy and regional digital policy into one tightly linked forum. The setup gives ASEAN-focused discussions a larger international platform while keeping AI and infrastructure at the center of the conversation.
