Redmi’s next mid-range move is starting to take shape, and the most attention-grabbing detail is hard to ignore: a rumored 9,000mAh battery backed by 67W charging. That combination could make the Redmi Note 17 Pro one of the most battery-focused phones in its class, if the current leaks prove accurate.
The clearest confirmation so far comes from China’s 3C certification, which has already exposed the charging capability. The model number 2607DRA18C is widely believed to belong to the Redmi Note 17 Pro, and the filing points to the MDY-15-EQ adapter with a maximum output of 67W.

In this case, the listing does not confirm every hardware specification, but it does strongly support the idea that Redmi is preparing a fast-charging phone with unusually large battery capacity.
Internal naming also adds weight to the timing rumors. The “26” in 2607DRA18C is read as 2026, while “07” points to July, which lines up with talk of a July 2026 debut for the Redmi Note 17 series in China.
What else is being tipped
Several other specifications have started to surface, although none are official yet. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is said to feature a flat 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 built on a 4nm process.
Camera rumors point to a 50MP main sensor, with a 16MP or 32MP front camera and HyperOS based on Android 16. Additional leaks also mention IP54 protection, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster.
How Redmi may separate the series
The Note 17 Pro is not expected to stand alone in the lineup. The base Note 17 is rumored to arrive with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 3, 33W charging, and a 6,000mAh battery, while the Note 17 Pro+ or Max may push further with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 4, a 10,000mAh battery, a 200MP camera, and a 7-inch display.
That range suggests Xiaomi is trying to create a clearer ladder across the Redmi Note family, with each model targeting a different balance of endurance, performance, and imaging. For the Pro model in particular, the emphasis appears to be on battery life without completely sacrificing practical charging times.
Several major details are still missing, including the exact display size, RAM and storage options, body design, and pricing. Connectivity specifics such as NFC and Bluetooth have also not surfaced, so the device remains unfinished in public view even as its battery and charging profile become increasingly clear.
More official teasers are expected only after the Redmi K90 Ultra launches on 30 June 2026. Until then, the 3C filing remains the strongest sign that Redmi Note 17 Pro is being prepared as a mid-range phone built around endurance and fast top-ups.
