Apple has increased prices across a wide range of products, sending a clear signal that higher component costs are now forcing changes through much of its lineup. MacBook, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Vision Pro are all among the devices affected.
The move has already reached some markets, including Indonesia. On Friday morning, the price of the iPad 11 (2025) rose from Rp6 million to Rp7.2 million, while global pricing showed increases spread across nearly every major product family.
Premium Macs Face the Steepest Increases
The most noticeable changes appear in Apple’s higher-end laptop and desktop range. MacBook Neo moved from $599 to $699, while the 13-inch MacBook Air rose from $1,099 to $1,299 and the 15-inch model climbed from $1,299 to $1,499.
The MacBook Pro line saw even larger jumps. The MacBook Pro M5 increased from $1,699 to $1,999, the MacBook Pro M5 Pro from $2,199 to $2,499, and the MacBook Pro M5 Max from $3,599 to $4,099.

Apple Points to Rising Component Costs
Apple told Reuters that component prices have risen “faster and larger” than at any time it has seen before. The company pointed to memory price increases, shortages of advanced chips, global inflation, and supply chain disruptions as the main pressures.
A company spokesperson said Apple had tried to shield customers from higher prices for as long as possible. Tim Cook reinforced that position in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, saying the situation was no longer sustainable because Apple could not keep absorbing all production costs.
iPhone Is Still Untouched, For Now
Apple has not yet raised prices for iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods. Even so, analysts believe the next round of changes may not be far away if the cost pressure continues.
Nabila Popal, Senior Research Director at IDC, said iPhone will not avoid a price adjustment. She added that higher-end iPhone models could face price increases in the coming months because they use the same premium components, including LPDDR5 memory and NVMe storage.
That outlook leaves buyers in a difficult position, especially in markets where Apple prices are already moving upward. For many customers, the choice may soon become whether to buy now or wait and risk paying more later.
