Honor X5c Plus Comes With a Full Box, While Rivals Keep Cutting Back

Honor X5c Plus enters Indonesia’s Rp 2 million smartphone segment with a rare advantage: the box still feels complete. At a time when many affordable phones arrive with fewer accessories, this package stands out before the device is even powered on.

The appeal is practical rather than flashy. Buyers can use the phone immediately without having to add a charger, case, or wired headset to the shopping list, which lowers the effective starting cost.

A package that still feels generous

Inside the box, Honor includes the phone unit, a 15-watt fast charging adapter, a USB-A to USB-C cable, a USB-C wired headset, a transparent soft case, a SIM ejector, a user guide, and a warranty card.

That combination matters because it covers the most common early needs. The bundled headset also remains useful for gaming, online meetings, and music playback, while the transparent case helps protect the body from scratches and fingerprints.

Design keeps the entry-level phone from looking plain

In Ocean Cyan, the rear panel uses a wave-like pattern that reflects light and gives the body a more distinctive look. The camera module also follows a more modern style, with three boba-like circles arranged in a zig-zag layout.

Honor does not claim three main cameras there, however. The phone is equipped with one 50 MP main camera and a QVGA sensor, while the other circles serve mainly as design elements.

The body feels fairly thin in hand, with a flat frame and rounded corners that make one-handed use more comfortable. The included soft case can be fitted right away for extra protection.

Display and everyday use

The Honor X5c Plus uses a 6.74-inch TFT LCD panel with HD Plus resolution, or 720 x 1,600 pixels. For a phone in this price class, the choice is still reasonable even if it does not match the visual quality of AMOLED screens found on more expensive models.

The bezels around the display remain noticeably thick, and the 5 MP front camera sits inside a waterdrop notch. Honor also adds Eye Comfort and Dynamic Dimming features, which are intended to reduce eye strain during long use.

Battery and performance focus on daily needs

Battery life is one of the device’s strongest points. Honor equips the X5c Plus with a 5,260 mAh battery supported by 15-watt charging, and the company says the capacity is enough to last through a full day of use.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset paired with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The processor uses eight cores, split into two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.7 GHz.

That hardware combination is aimed at social media, video streaming, and light gaming. Honor offers only one memory configuration in Indonesia, namely 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The 128 GB storage capacity is an important point in this class because it gives users more room for apps, photos, and videos. It also reduces the chance of filling storage too quickly, which is often a concern in lower-priced phones.

Connectivity and final pricing

Honor X5c Plus includes USB-C, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a speaker grille at the bottom. On the left side, there is a dual-SIM tray and a dedicated microSD slot.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC and aptX HD audio codec support, dual SIM 4G LTE, and sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and gravity sensor.

The phone is available in Ocean Cyan and Midnight Black. In Indonesia, the Honor X5c Plus is priced at Rp 2.299.000 for the single 4 GB/128 GB variant.
