Monarc’s Tracer arrives as an urban e-bike built around a rare headline feature in its class: dual batteries as standard. That setup gives it a claimed range of up to 209 km on a single charge, making it a strong option for commuters who want distance without adding an extra battery later.
The battery package uses two LG units rated at 48V 15Ah each, or 720Wh per battery. Together, they deliver 1,440Wh of total energy, while a single-battery setup still offers about 104 km of range.
Power that favors daily commuting
At the center of the Tracer is a Bafang rear hub motor rated at 750W. Monarc says it can reach a peak output of 1,638W and produce 85 Nm of torque, a combination aimed at quick acceleration and easier climbs in mixed city traffic.
The bike is marketed as a Class 2 e-bike, but riders can switch between Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 modes. In its highest setting, pedal assist reaches 45 km/h.

Connected features for everyday use
Monarc equips the Tracer with a 3.5-inch touchscreen mounted at the center of the handlebar. The display shows essential ride data, including speed, battery level, and distance traveled.
The bike also connects to Monarc’s app, which lets riders remotely lock the vehicle, adjust riding modes, and receive over-the-air software updates. Monarc further lists support for smart accessories such as a smart helmet, TPMS tire-pressure sensor, dashcam, and heart-rate sensor.
Built for comfort, load, and flexibility
For ride comfort, the Tracer uses a Gneiss front suspension fork with 80 mm of travel. The aluminum frame comes in two versions, high-step and step-thru, giving buyers a choice based on preference and fit.
Load capacity is another major part of the package. The bike supports up to 190 kg, while the rear rack can carry as much as 27 kg of cargo.
Monarc prices the Tracer from US$1,899 for both frame types, and buyers get a free smart helmet during the launch period. With long range, app-based controls, and a heavy-duty carrying capacity, the Tracer is positioned as a commuter-focused e-bike that combines practicality with modern features.
