iQOO has quietly expanded its premium tablet lineup in China with the Pad 5c, a device that combines a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 144Hz display, and a 10,000mAh battery. The formula places the tablet in a strong position for entertainment, gaming, and everyday work.
What makes the device stand out is not any single headline feature, but the way its core hardware is balanced. iQOO pairs the chipset with LPDDR5X RAM, while storage comes in 128GB UFS 3.1 and 256GB UFS 4.1 options for users who want either value or faster performance.
Large screen, fast refresh, and slim body
The iQOO Pad 5c uses a 12.1-inch LCD panel with 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. That combination is aimed at smoother navigation, better media playback, and more responsive gaming on apps that can take advantage of the higher refresh rate.
Even with a large display and a big battery, the tablet remains relatively slim at 6.62 mm and weighs 584 grams. That gives it a form factor that still feels manageable for a tablet of this size.
The battery is one of the main selling points. With a 10,000mAh capacity and 44W wired charging support, the Pad 5c is built for longer sessions away from the charger while keeping recharge times practical.
Built for media, calls, and everyday tasks
Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup, which makes sense for a tablet aimed at video streaming, mobile gaming, and virtual meetings. The camera hardware is modest, with a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera for video calls, document scanning, and light photography.
Connectivity is also well covered for a premium tablet. iQOO includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
On the software side, the tablet runs OriginOS 6 for tablets and supports face unlock. iQOO also adds a set of productivity tools designed to make the device more useful for work and study.
Those tools include PC-grade WPS, AI PPT Assistant, multi-screen collaboration, wireless printing, and document scanning. Together, they position the Pad 5c as more than just a consumption device.
Gaming features and pricing
For gaming users, iQOO has added game super resolution and a live streaming assistant. The tablet also uses a large graphite heat-dissipation area to help manage thermals during heavy workloads.
That cooling system matters because the tablet is powered by a flagship-class chipset. Stable performance can be just as important as raw speed during longer gaming or multitasking sessions.
The Pad 5c is offered in three configurations, and the pricing is set in China at 2,699 Yuan for the 8GB+128GB model, 2,999 Yuan for the 8GB+256GB version, and 3,499 Yuan for the 12GB+256GB variant.
| Variant | Memory | Storage | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base model | 8GB | 128GB | 2,699 Yuan |
| Mid-tier model | 8GB | 256GB | 2,999 Yuan |
| Top model | 12GB | 256GB | 3,499 Yuan |
Color options are limited to Silver Wing and Grey Crystal, and sales in China are scheduled to begin this month. There is no official word yet on a global release, so availability outside China remains uncertain for now.
The Pad 5c is also notable because it is essentially a rebranded version of iQOO Pad 5e, which previously debuted as vivo Pad 5e. That makes the new tablet part of a familiar hardware platform, now brought under the iQOO name with the same emphasis on performance, battery life, and productivity-focused features.
